Lovely stay at this guest house. Friendly and welcoming owners that made us feel at home during our short stay. The bedroom and facilities were very clean. The location is walkable to the Kamakura kokomae station. The surroundings were very peaceful and the views of the coastline was very beautiful. Possible to see Mt Fuji from the beach on a clear day.

It's definitely a hidden gem. One station away from the Shonan Monorail via the iconic green/yellow Enoshima Electric Railway. The room is large enough for 4 persons in a 3 person side-by-side and 1 person tangent to the others. Our tallest person is 6'-1" for reference. There's a small cute TV good for checking out the weather. We settled in on the 3rd floor and there are two other rooms I believe, sharing two baths and two toilets. Never managed to run into any other guest going to the bathroom. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes walking to the enoshima island bridge. There is a cute restaurant downstairs. The owner/manager is such a delightful person! If you ever want to experience the traditional Tatami for a night or two, this is the place for you.

Facilities: Although the bathrooms and toilets are shared, they were exceptionally clean. They are traditional Japanese-style communal baths, with separate facilities for men and women. You can enjoy a good soak without worrying about crowding. Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless! Environment: Impeccable. Service: The elderly Japanese proprietress was incredibly thoughtful and warm. We arrived quite late. While most tourists stay in Kamakura, we specifically chose this inn near Shonan-Koko-Mae Station to visit the less-crowded 'Slam Dunk' photo spot. The proprietress even gave us a small gift when we checked out. This area is a paradise for outdoor activities. In the early mornings and evenings, you can spot marathon runners, surfers, paddleboarders, swimmers, and cyclists. It's wonderful to enjoy the coastline at these times without the usual tourist crowds.

It's essentially a small guesthouse, run by a very friendly elderly couple. They even gave me postcards when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. However, the room was quite small, possibly because it was designed as a quad room, and having a shared bathroom and shower wasn't ideal for convenience. Despite this, I'm incredibly grateful that the grandma helped me with my laundry – that was truly wonderful!

This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.
