Guest House Kamejikan -Turtle Time-

The owner speaks excellent Chinese and English, and is a wonderful person! The guesthouse is super close to the beach, and the owner provides a helpful overview of the surrounding area during check-in. It's also very near Enoden, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kamakura Koko-mae and Shichirigihama. Due to my itinerary, I didn't make it to Enoshima, but it would have been super easy to get there via Enoden! I booked a dormitory room and shared it with a German family; it was completely quiet at night as other guests were very considerate. The beds were clean and tidy, a really great experience!

This hotel has a fantastic Japanese vibe! Even though it's by the road, I thought it might be noisy at night, but it was surprisingly quiet – I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom and shower aren't private, but it was still a great experience to spend a night in such an authentic Japanese style while in Japan.

Located about a 15-minute walk from the station, it's actually quite close to the beach, making it suitable for surfers. Coffee and tea are available in the public areas, but you'll need to bring your own toiletries such as toothbrushes.

A pretty good guesthouse; the rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were very welcoming. Great value for money!

It's a little far from the station, but it's close to the sea and has a very local feel. The interior of the historic building is very well-thought-out. There's a drink bar where you can enjoy freshly made coffee. I've become a big fan. Thank you for your hospitality.

A fantastic hostel! Highly recommended! Located in a residential area near the coast, it's very quiet (there's a 11 PM lights-out rule, but it was perfectly acceptable to me). The atmosphere is retro and stylish, making it very comfortable. A variety of teas and coffees are available in the common area. The staff (may I call them that?) speak good English and are very friendly. In the morning, one of the staff patiently taught me how to make a pour-over coffee using the tools in the common area. The beds aren't large, but they're not cramped either, and I slept very comfortably. It was also very pleasant to chat with the other guests. The hostel offers bicycle rentals, allowing you to cycle south towards Zushi. However, free towels and toiletries are not provided, which is something to be aware of. Overall, I was very impressed with this place. If you're looking for a quiet hostel that avoids the crowds and allows you to experience the local community atmosphere, definitely consider this one!
