This hotel has the feel of a traditional hot spring inn. It is within walking distance from Kaminoyama Onsen Station, but there are slopes, so it is safer to use the shuttle bus. The building is large and you have to walk quite a bit. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, but the view from the rooms was only of the hotel's courtyard and a separate building. The dinner buffet was worth the price. There was a steak cooked by the chef, but it was disappointingly good quality. However, I think it was commendable that they introduced a one-person hotpot that uses solid fuel to the buffet.

Even though the building is old, you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The buffet is delicious and the all-you-can-drink option is also great.
