It was nice being there, the place ,location was so relaxing and hearing the lions roar at night its an awesome experience.

The lodge is located on the hillslopes of Mariepskop with beautiful views over the bushveld. Great for birdsong and bird watching. You can even hear the Moholoholo lions during the day and night. Unfortunately, the tents are in need of some maintenance and the self-catering kitchenette was poorly equipped.

What an incredible place! Celebrated our anniversary there, and they went the extra mile to make it special. Beautiful table layed out on our deck for dinner, with champagne. Pledge was incredible, helpful,friendly and just made sure we were looked after. The best view in the Lowveld from your deck, with beautiful splash pool, comfortable bed and all you need for a perfect stay. Cannot rate this place enough - 10 out of 10.

Pledge and all the other staff, you were excellent and always friendy and helpfull. I really enjoyed my stay in the luxury tent. You will definitely see me again. Always willing tobwall the extra mile. The scenery is unbelievable and the bonus of the lions roaring in the background.

We visited Amafu Forest Lodge in December, where we encountered friendly staff, enjoyed delicious food at the restaurant, and had a fantastic time overall. What struck us the most was the privacy of our cottage, especially the Pauci cottage. The layout ensured that the other cottages were not close by, and the surrounding trees provided ample privacy. This allowed us to feel truly secluded in nature, creating a wonderfully romantic atmosphere for us as a couple.
