The Trees, Kandy was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. We were welcomed by staff with tea and beautiful lotus flowers. The pool provides fantastic view of Kandy. It’s a shame that our stay coincided with the crowds for the sacred exposition of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, otherwise we would have enjoyed our stay more. There were a few times staff did forget our orders at breakfast and at the bar, but other than than, thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

It's much better than what is said online. It has AC! But the shower is really cold and there are many ants on the table.

The room was nice and standard. There was no hot water when I took a shower in the morning. The breakfast was simple and there were few choices. The overall service was good. The room was a bit noisy if it was close to the road. The view from the lobby was OK.

Facilities: The facilities are very new and should be relatively good in this area. There is an infinity pool on the top floor, and the view of the town is great.
Hygiene: It is very clean and efficient overall
Environment: It is very close to the observation deck in Kandy
Service: The check-in efficiency is high, the service staff is very friendly, and there is a little monkey on the balcony and he actively asked me to see it

The hotel is relatively new, the scenery is nice, and the rooftop infinity pool is a standout. But it can't guarantee 24-hour hot water. If you use it a little more, you have to wait 45 minutes for the water to boil...

A wonderful hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Kandy - part of the city but well enough removed so you can sit and watch. Restaurant staff were excellent, wonderful service and an excellent menu choice. Literally the staff could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable or more enjoyable. Roof top infinity pool is one of those you always see on TV but never get to experience - until now.

My husband and I had a great experience here. The room was very clean and staff professional and attentive to our needs. The food was great. Although all staff was great, we'd like to give thanks to the staff at reception, chefs and housekeeping. Unfortunately, I was not able to get all their names. I did get these that I'd like to thank: Gayani, Thushani & Sampath.
