Very nice and clean house. I recommend it 100%, I've never seen people so attentive and friendly, the dormitories, mattresses and sanitary facilities are in very good condition and clean. Thank you very much.

Eden Kandy is an outstanding small hotel that truly captures the charm of a traditional Sri Lankan home. The property is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and offers all the basic facilities and amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is located a short distance from Kandy city center and is easily accessible by tuk-tuk. Guests should note that breakfast arrangements need to be informed in advance as there is no on-site restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist. The property feels very safe and secure, and the price is affordable, offering great value for money. I highly recommend Eden Kandy for a short stay of one or two nights. Perfect for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a homely atmosphere.

I'm giving top marks to Eden Kandy. It's very clean and peaceful. The female dorm was spacious with nice beds. I appreciate the bedside lamps. Plus there was a big window. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. I really liked the living areas and wish I had spent more time enjoying the spaces. The neighborhood is quiet. There are a few stores nearby. Breakfast is $4 if not included. I would skip it. There are limited kitchen supplies if you're doing your own thing. I like to walk so made the hike up to the hostel but tuktuks are available. It's about 20 minutes to walk into town and 10 more minutes to get to the sites. FYI that there is currently construction in the bus station area so many things have moved. The manager was great, shared tons of info and let me check in immediately in the morning. Absolutely go to Mandiya cafe. I would absolutely come back here.

Had such a lovely experience here! The place is clearly well cared for and maintained. The pricing is very reasonable, especially given how convenient the location is. The manager was also very welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option with a personal touch!
