My stay at Kandy samadhi centre was nothing short of a sensory delight. A beautiful space to relax in, gorgeous organic food and very comfortable rooms. The design of this place is incredible! Colours, antiques and architecture! Samadhi has a very ancient feel to it even though it’s only existed for 25yrs. I had a full body Ayurvedic treatment during my stay. What an experience- the setting alone for the treatments is an experience in itself but the quality of the massage was outstanding. The staff are beyond helpful and incredibly kind- full of smiles! My room overlooked the knuckles mountain range, felt super safe here at night. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and experience a really unique stay in a completely natural setting.

What an incredible, magical place Samadhi Centre is... This is my third trip. The first I came for lunch, the second I stayed for a night and the third I stayed for four nights... I could have stayed for 40 nights! The elegance and beauty of the jungle is intoxicating as is the delicious food and the comfortable bedrooms and the very courteous and helpful staff. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful, I look forward to returning.

I spent 9 days at the Kandy Samadhi Centre and honestly could have stayed another 10. My friend and I did a 8 day pancha karma treatment and it was one of the best things I've ever done. The food was phenomenal, the treatments were wonderful and the setting is absolutely perfect to unwind in. The staff are so generous and kind. Cannot recommend this place more highly! Already planning my next trip!

The most peaceful place on earth. This was my second time returning to Samadhi and it was just as memorable as the first time. The team has created a relaxing oasis in the middle of the Kandy mountains. The food is my favorite in all of Sri Lanka. Sleeping accommodations are very comfortable and clean. They offer a lot of daytime activities such as waterfall hikes, health and wellness treatments, river walks, yoga, and cooking classes. Samadhi remains my favorite place to visit.

Coming here off-season beginning of May had some unintentional pleasant surprises. We were visiting as a couple and had the whole establishment to ourselves. Secluded from the city, built in high elevation, protects you from the “wet heat” of Srilanka’s sometimes unbearable climate -especially for people who come from geographies with well-balanced seasons. The hotel (calling Samadhi Center a hotel is hugely understating the experience) grounds were very authentic, stylish and welcoming. Heavily built in stone and wood with a spacious layout, the room was very comfortable. You could be one with nature and feel like you are shedding life’s stress by each passing minute. Staff was extremely helpful especially with the unpleasant surprises we had with leeches during our waterfall hike. Body massage was the best I ever had with an authentic application of a steam bath. Would definitely recommend.

The Samadhi centre is a fantastic destination! The holistic nature of the resort is refreshing and calming, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The food was the best the local cuisine had to offer. I highly recommend it!
