We came across Bougan Villa in Kandy thru a fiend who had recommended and it certainly lived up to and exceeded our expectations! It's a warm and homely mix between a boutique villa and a Homestay set in Central and convenient location with a nice view. There are some lovely pieces of antique furniture combined with an art-decor style. The food was really good and artistically plated to ensure a sensory delight. Was lovely to see vintage cutlery and crockery laid out on the table for each meal, giving it an elegant classic touch. The owner, Mrs. Sharmalee Wickremasinghe and her staff were friendly and accommodating and ensured we had a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious and bathroom as large as a normal sized bedroom. Comfy bed and memory foam pillows ensured we had a restful night's sleep. There's also a beautifully landscaped garden at the back on split levels. We will certainly be back!

Centrally located, this impeccably designed villa, with large rooms and bathrooms is the place to unwind alone or with family and friends. The excellent service with a homely vibe is matched by the exquisite cuisine dished out by the culinary team. Truly a hidden gem in the Centre of the Hill capital.

We had such an amazing weekend at this lovely villa, the location is so close to the Kandy lake as well and we got the chance to explore Kandy with ease. Our rooms the Yellow and Red rooms were opposite each other so perfect for a family. The rooms have a double kings size and a single bed each so lots of space. A sitting area, planet of luggage space and a fridge was great to have in the room. The highlight was the amazing food we got, with the special hopper night! So much value for money as they have not spared anything to offer us the best and most tasty meals. The staff were on the ball at all times and were always there to help and anticipated our needs even before we ask! The views were amazing as well! Its such a wonderful place. We would recommend it for anyone visiting Kandy for a night or even a long stay. You wont regret staying here! We will be back!

Bougan Villa was wonderful, nicely furnished with traditional and comfortable furniture. The staff was very helpful, and professional. The experienced chef made tasty traditional dishes. Highly recommended.

We booked Bougain Villa at Rajapiihilla Mw., for dinner. 6 of us. The dinner was simple, and very tasty. We'll thought of menu by Mrs. Shyamalee Wickramasingha. We'll worth the money. The place is classy for small party's. I recommend it highly❤

Such a charming and beautiful villa in a very central location close to the town. The house is so well maintained and rooms are super comfortable. Bathrooms are the biggest ones we have seen! Gunapala was so attentive and took great care of us. A hidden gem in Kandy… we will highly recommend it to all our clients.
