The most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka, I was full of expectations, but was quite disappointed. First of all, there is a one-way road on the way up the mountain, and it is dangerous to reverse when there is a car passing by. The hotel has only six rooms, including breakfast and dinner, but the variety is too small, and it is a bit not full. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are served very slowly. We were the only Chinese family that day, and we couldn't find anyone when we checked in, so we waited for a long time. The environment is very good, but it is too troublesome to go up and down the mountain, the service is average, and the hotel atmosphere is not very good. I don't recommend staying here.

The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high.

There are many management problems in this hotel: (1) Discrimination against Chinese guests. We paid the full amount in August to book a room for New Year's Day. No refunds were allowed, and changes were not supported. However, two days before check-in, they suddenly told us that there was no room available, and we were kicked out. Arrange to go to the King Pavilion half an hour away; (2) Have no sense of time, require eating at 11:30, ordering food in the morning, and eating at 12 o'clock;

Most beautiful Planters House in Sri Lanka! This is a great property for a peaceful and luxurious vacation. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable and the staff is courteous. We especially loved our butler Manjula. Don't miss out on booking a massage with Udani. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

W15 at Kandy will make you feel like you are leaving a dream. The property is beautiful, the view to the mountains are just to die for and the staff would make you feel like home. This small hotel it’s the best idea for a romantic get away, or if you just want to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. I’ll be coming back next time with my family so they can live this dream too!

We had an amazing stay at the W15. Though the stay was short, the staff Hastha, Tharaka, Navod, Manjula made sure we are well looked after. Food was outstanding. Perfect place to escape the busy life and relax looking out to the mountain range in the distance. Rooms are cozy and spacious. We will surely come back.

Quiet sophisticated accommodation and the staff of Manjula Hastha Tharaka Navod Were simply stellar. Drinks by the fireside after spectacular dining that was almost Michelin star quality. A rare find and most memorable. The on site naturalist is extremely well informed.

Wow what a fantastic stay in eavry posable way best room in the bungalow overlooking the mountains to the most attentive, friendly, fun staff and superb food thank you for making our 50th anniversary very special with all the wonderful surprises we will never forget special thanks to tharaka.
