The hotel is old and the rooms need renovation. The lock on the door was broken and the door was almost always open, which raises safety concerns. Another thing is that the hotel was overbooked and after one night staff moved all the tourists to another hotel with a downgraded room type and cold welcome, which created a lot of inconvenience. The only good thing about this hotel is the view and the spacious rooms. I felt tired and wanted to rest for a few days, but it turned out to be constantly disturbing. Extremely disappointed

Youth hostel prices, hotel services. The location is a bit out of the way, but it only takes ten minutes to walk to Kangping Lake and more than 20 minutes to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The facilities are very new and there is a balcony with a view of Kandy. There seems to be a bar on the top floor, which is very lively, and it ends on time at ten o'clock without affecting your rest. All in all, it’s a good deal and worth booking.

The boss is very welcoming. The location is two kilometers away from the Temple of the Tooth Relic. There is no air conditioning in the single room.

This is one of the worst places in Kandy. I called the hotel, and a lady answered to confirm my reservation. Later, when I called again to inform them that I was on my way with a group and that it might take some time to check in, a man answered the phone. He rudely told me they close their gates at 9 PM because he wanted to sleep and wouldn’t even open the gate for a dog after that time. These were his exact words, which were both unethical and unexpected. Such behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. These people clearly don’t understand the basic meaning of hospitality. I was so embarrassed, and it was incredibly difficult to find alternative accommodation at that time. This entire situation arose because of the arrogant behavior of this man and lady. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your valuable money and, more importantly, your peace of mind by going here. Avoid it at all costs.
