The old five-star hotel is located on the Mahaweli River, the mother river of Sri Lanka. It is a must-have hotel for Kandy people to get married. The British service standard is very good. Compared with other Sri Lankan hotels, the check-in and check-out are very fast. The software service makes up for the old facilities deficiencies, it is recommended

We liked this hotel, smart inside with views over the pools and the river. The staff were excellent, the buffet was good, plenty of choices. Our room was big and spacious with all facilities on hand. It was my birthday and the staff made a special effort producing a birthday cake and singing happy birthday, which was a lovely surprise. Thank you.

Excellent. The interior is a little old style which is not a surprise. Yet for one who won’t prefer it will have to think twice. Other than that it’s perfect. Love the service. Food is delicious. Buffet menu is amazing. Space is adequate. Got a pool, billiard table, pool table and table tennis ❤️

We went to the hotel for dinner. There was a wide variety of foods from around the world including traditional sri lankan dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted great! Special thanks to Indika Davi who made us feel very well looked after throughout the meal. Would recommend sitting outside so you can tale in the beautiful view.

Excellent service from Avishka at the hotel . Treated like Royalty. Thank you to all the hotel staff , it really was all beautiful. The ambiance, food and service were all incredible. We travelled as a family and it was perfect . My boys loved the facilities
