The owners and employees at this hotel are so, so lovely. Unfortunately their hotel is not. I almost feel catfished as many of the photos highlighted the bar and pool party atmosphere. This was not the case - the pool was a decent size but in the shade and I actually didn’t see anyone in it. The pool party drinking shots I highly suspect were perhaps not a genuine source. The same goes for the bar which is massive and attended to by several lovely young, bored gentlemen as both times I popped up (once for dinner) I was the only patron. Again no party atmosphere or even people - which is a shame as it is a big venue. Fortunately next door was another venue for some decent cocktails and music which saved the boredom somewhat. The bedroom was a decent size with a small fridge (but didn’t work), the bathroom was small, felt dirty, no hand soap or soap for the shower (apart from leftover previous occupants - and that was gross). The pressure was poor making showering difficult and there was plaster on the floor from some damage - not cleaned up. The bed was massive and comfortable with air conditioning and a fan so sleep was good. Finally, and to repeat, the staff were lovely. Very hospitable and the location is about a ten minute walk to the Sacred Tooth Temple and Kandy Lake. So great location. Would I stay there again - no. Would I pop in to say hello to the owners and next door for a cocktails - possibly!

The bed was comfy. The view was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The location is very close to downtown but up a hill so very very quiet. The food is good, EXCEPT the mutton biryani. Don't order the Mutton Biryani it was just tough fatty meat that you couldn't chew unless you want to feel like you're chewing on an old piece of gum.

The staff was very good and clean hotel. The room is large and the hot water in the shower comes out firmly. It has a kitchen and is suitable for long stays, which is very good for this price. I felt like a beautiful business hotel, not a resort. Because it is built on the mountain, ants and so on are in the room, but I didn't care. It is a difficult location far from the city and on foot.

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.

It is an old hotel. The room facilities are not very new, but it is well maintained. The environment, location and sanitation are all good. It is also very convenient to go to the Temple of the Tooth Relic to watch the Perahera procession at night.

Breakfast is just like the avocado I love. Some smell in the room may be a damp relationship. When I went to the rainy season, it was not good to start wet at noon. On the mountain, it was damp and the temperature difference was colder at night. The quilt is very thin, but the quilt of Lanka is very thin. The hot water can cook people, the door is bad, the shower plate squats and slams me a few times, God, but the water will not be loaded. Later, I took a bath and took a shower. The traffic is inconvenient. You have to get a TukTuk car everywhere. It is about 7 kilometers away from the city center. It is very rare. It may be the relationship of the off-season, but it is not crowded. The nearby tea factory will not be able to walk for 10 minutes. Maybe I am not used to the mountain, I live very depressed. personal reasons.
