Had a pleasant stay at the FX Inn. The staff are friendly and diligent and the room is nice and comfy. Unfortunately I had to take a star away because they advertise they have a gym but it's just a room (which is very small) with a stationary bike and a vibration plate. Breakfast options are okay but dishes could be warmer and it would be nice for them to include some flavour options (spices or sauces). My trip in Kaohsiung was hampered a bit by Typhoon Krathon. Hopefully yours will be better. Thankfully the hotel has washers and dryers that are free to use. Bring your own washing powder/satchets/gels or buy them at reception.

The location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

The service attitude is first-class, the decoration is also very good, and the supplies and different details are very considerate. It's a pity that I booked the largest room and said there was a window. Unfortunately, I only said that there was a window when I arrived at the scene, but I couldn't see the outside. It was like a ”dark room”. I couldn't see the outside at all. The room was dark all day long. This is very disappointing, after all, it is not cheap. 😵💫

In the evening, they also have rib soup, corn soup, and steamed eggs, which are very good. 🍳Breakfast is in the form of a set meal. The pasta with pesto sauce is delicious and does not have a strange taste. The Italian-style grilled chicken drumsticks are also quite tender. The overall taste is good. Compared with the general semi-buffet style, the variety is a bit better. It’s a bit less, but it’s definitely not a problem if you’re full, especially the lotus root and pork ribs soup is so delicious that I drank two bowls of it👍

This is my second stay in Kaohsiung. The front desk staff is friendly, the rooms are neat and clean, and the self-service check-out is quick and easy. The hotel has an underground parking lot and a light rail line nearby. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel for convenient transportation, but there are few restaurants nearby that offer delivery service.
