"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Comfortable Stay and Great Breakfast! I recently stayed at Hu House Hotel in Kaohsiung for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The location is super convenient—close to Liuhe Night Market and just a short walk from the MRT station, which made it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable beds and all the essentials provided. The staff were polite, helpful, and made check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. One of the highlights of the stay was the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of both Western and local ********* options, including fresh fruit, salads, hot dishes, pastries, and great coffee. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it was a lovely way to start each morning. Overall, Hu House Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Kaohsiung. It’s comfortable, well-located, and offers excellent value—especially with the buffet breakfast included. I’d definitely stay here again!"

Front desk was a little confused and originally gave us later checkout because we had another room type booked the next day (just changing rooms), but the morning staff didn’t know and woke us up and complained we didn’t check out at the normal time. 🤷♂️ Beds were hard, towels ancient, everything old. But… cheap and great location. So you get what you pay for, and it was decent for the price."

"Room filled with cigarette smell, every breath I took gave me a headache I had to buy a room spray to save my trip, I suggest if the cleaner found it smelly they should spray the room before letting other customers in Also I booked 2 nights but the receptionist called me in morning after the first night to check out before noon without listening to anything I needed to call back to explain, not sure how their booking system works"

"It is about a 20-minute drive from Kaohsiung International Airport and about a 20-minute drive from Kaohsiung's Xinxing District. The most satisfying thing is the breakfast provided by the hotel. The service attitude of the front desk staff is good. The room is large, but the decoration is old. The room has windows that can be opened. The room has shower gel, shampoo and two disposable towels. The Fengshan District Youth Night Market is a 6-8 minute walk away and is open until 11:30 pm. However, I have to be careful as the walking path is dimly lit. In addition to ********* food and snacks, there is also a stall run by some veteran chefs, offering shoulder and foot massages for about NT$300 for half an hour. If you want to find food during the day, you can search for the nearest ”FamilyMart” on Google Maps and there will be food on this road."
