Kaohsiung Nanzi District Hotels

The room was incredibly spacious. I particularly appreciated the 24-hour front desk service, and the breakfast was very generous and completely to my liking.

Except for the scary nude portrait hanging on the wall, everything is good. I hope the portrait can be removed. Otherwise, when I go to the toilet, my eyes will feel fuzzy when I go to bed when I look at the portrait, and I won't dare to sleep.

The location of the room is quite big, the breakfast is not bad, the TV is not good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Kaohsiung Main Station (rear exit), so transportation is absolutely no issue. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, making it incredibly convenient overall. The front desk and staff were all very welcoming and helpful, which I really appreciated. The room itself was exactly as pictured – definitely a bit older but thankfully no dampness or mildew smell, so it's clear they put effort into maintenance. The bedding was also very clean and comfortable. Inevitably, there were some signs of aging, with the cabinets and showerhead perhaps showing their age, but overall, I was quite satisfied. I've visited Taiwan many times, but this was my first trip to Kaohsiung, and this stay definitely left a good impression.

Good location, good price This hotel is pretty good overall, with a convenient location, affordable price, and high cost performance. However, the hygiene needs to be improved, and some places in the room are not cleaned clean enough. However, if you are only staying for a short time and do not have high requirements for accommodation, you can still consider it.

Super satisfied with this prime location, just a few meters from Kaohsiung Station. You can access to all types of transportation conveniently. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. I really love using a hot bath in the room to retreat myself from a long day. Breakfast is also nice with good variety of foods. Highly recommend!

Was very happy with the room I got. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. No problem to placed 4 big cargo bags in that room! The location is fantastic, it is just across the Kaohsiung main station, cannot be better than that. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast, maybe my expectation was high and what I got was not good enough. It was really very simple food, like what you get from your home kitchen. The coffee station were always not replenished with sufficient tea bag for example. Anyway, that not the highlight of this hotel so no big deal.

Very clean n comfy room but room abit small looks like just renovated slp well at night counter staff very polite and helpful the hotel breakfast is good n they provide 24hr coffee snacks n ice cream 7min walk to train station highly recommend

I love the location of CU Kaohsiung. It is near the TRA, MRT and some bus stations. Food spots may be a few mins walk. There were suggested night markets. The check out procedure is fast and easy with the kiosks. Less personal touch but reliable. I did not like that they did not provide extra pillows and extra coffee/tea. They did not clean our room on our second night. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the pictures show bath tub and bidet, the assigned room to us does not have a bath tub nor bidet.

The location is great, and the mattress is comfortable, but the soundproofing is lacking. 😂 There are only seven rooms on one floor, so it's tolerable; at least the noise isn't that loud. The lack of a power outlet near the bed is unacceptable. Breakfast is included, but you really have to be really hungry to appreciate it. I didn't check out the late-night snack hours. While the staff were almost nonexistent, the distance was what I liked. There's only one elevator, but it's fast and the wait time is minimal. The price is high, but the room is a bit small. I'd consider it again next time.
