I was blown away! I was here 1 year before and boy oh boy what a difference! It is night and day. So, the entire hotel interior was changed , "head to toe". Not only the rooms, but the coridors, downstairs bathrooms, everything is new. And state of the art i might add. All rooms are filled with new & modern furniture, new floors, new appliances ( top quality ones, i might add). Bathroom is completely renovated, They probably took down everything up to the brick in the walls and started fresh. I love the overall look! The mattress is so comfortable and the entire room is so cosy and warm. I love it and i will never go to any other hotel in this area as this is a world apart from everything else around here ! The restautant is great, i just had a wonderful local type of salad here and it was divine and breakfast has all options you can imagine P. S. I have no talent in taking pictures but i tried to take some of the room to share with a friend. My god what a successful makeover!

My pre-opening experience: wau!!!!! Perfectly modernisated hotel state of the art with great hospitality and comfort ! Highly recommend for business as well as tourism in the Hochsteiermark region. You for sure will not find a better value accommodation - enjoy!

Great enthusiasm! I, Ewald Harrer, former hotel manager in this house, host & retired pastry chef, would like to express my sincere enthusiasm for the Hotel Restaurant Böhlerstern. Over the years, I have experienced wonderful moments there several times as a guest with my family, including the celebration of my 70th birthday. But February 20, 2024 marked a very special event, the opportunity to admire the magnificent renovation of the hotel. Hotel director Thomas Kössler invited me to a comprehensive tour of the house, which overwhelmed me and my wife. Our positive impressions were obvious and we were simply blown away! The renovation work carried out is phenomenal and truly enchanted us. I felt goosebumps several times. I would like to congratulate the management and all employees for their contribution. I am particularly pleased to see that the logo that I developed more than three decades ago is still part of the identity of the house. It was an honor for me to once be part of this wonderful company and I am proud to continue to see its uniqueness shine. "Life becomes a celebration" at the Hotel Restaurant Böhlerstern. It is one of the most beautiful and best establishments in Styria and deserves to be recognized as such!

10 days of intensive training at Böhlerstern. Room: Very clean, very functional. The furniture is fine, but a little old. A picture on the wall would be an improvement, as would the option to make the room really dark. Bathroom: Also very clean, but the water pressure and temperature could be increased. Staff: Great. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Great! Seminar rooms: Functional and some with a touch of history - it's something. Technical equipment OK. Breakfast: Lovingly prepared and everything included - nothing was missing. Restaurant Bachstelze: Enjoyed as part of the seminar catering. Everything was good, could have been a bit more varied. Salads can also be varied. Conclusion: Flair and staff top, food OK, room facilities (standard) can be improved.

Charming hotel. Comfort at the top. Perfect welcome. The hostesses are friendly and very helpful. The room is spacious and clean. I therefore recommend this hotel. The restaurant located next to the reception is very nice. The dishes are very good.

As soon as you enter the hotel you notice the attractive decor. A mix of classic and modern style. The staff was excellent, friendly, competent and very attentive. The rooms are very nice and spacious. You should definitely try the breakfast.

Kein Parkplatz als Hotelgast obwohl mit verkauft , ausser mit Aufforderung zur Besitzstörung bei Vöstalpine zu parken, dies aber nur mündlich Sehr schönes Zimmer, doch WC Ventilator lief die ganze Nacht, war trotz geschlossener Türe sehr laut keine Möglichkeit gefunden, dies zu ändern, bin öfter aufgewacht deshalb. Frühstück Raum erst um 07:10 geöffnet Frühstück Buffet gab es keines, auch kein Brot etc. Nur Surgebäck und einen Teller mit Schinken Käse, soviel zum Frühstücksbuffet. Auf die Frage nach dem Buffet erhielt ich vom Service und der Reception gleich lautende Antwort, heute fällt dies aus, da zu wenig Gäste. Ein Anruf kurz nach 8 Uhr beim Hotelleiter Hr T. Kössner vergeblich, der Chef ist noch nicht da und es ist unbekannt, wann dieser kommt. Alles in allem und in meiner 34 jährigen Berufslaufbahn als internationaler Manager, Europa bis Cina, Lybien und mehr, dies ist nach Überlegung wohl das mieseste Service aller hotels von 2 - 4 Sternen, was ich jemals erdulden durfte. Selbst in Bulgarien oder Serbien ist das Service besser. Ich habe ein 4 Stern Produkt mit Parkplatz und Frühstück Buffet gekauft, cethalten hab ich dies nicht. Des weiteren hatte mein Zimmer bei Bezug um 20 Uhr, gebucht schon am Vormittag, nur 19 Grad.
