Great service and great facility. View from the terrace was so beautiful. Breakfast and dinner was fine. Room service was a bit expensive. Burger was just €14 but the delivery fee was charged €10..

It is a spa resort. You can swim in the pool, which is very spacious and has many fun facilities, so I am satisfied. There is a separate infinity pool for guests. The mountain view there is really the best. The infinity pool is open from 8 am to 10 pm. The Austrian countryside scenery seen from the window is also beautiful. The green view that greets me when I wake up in the morning makes me feel like I am in nature. I included meals, and the staff was very kind and friendly. The taste of dinner is not very good.

A fantastic hot spring resort with the backdrop of the Alps that can only be booked for one night during the week. Before check-in, you can use the water facilities except for the hotel-only hot spring facilities. The changing room in the basement of the hotel is shared between men and women, so you may be disappointed if you change clothes in front of the locker. It is called a hot spring, but you can think of it as a warm water swimming pool (it smells like bleach), and there is a nude zone, so be careful. There are many beach chairs, so there are plenty of places to rest, and the staff are very friendly. This is the place where the staff was the friendliest during my trip. The minibar in the room is free, the dinner buffet including the course was delicious, and there was a juicer here, which was nice. Seats are reserved for dinner and breakfast, and there is a reservation name card on the table. They give you a small herbal salt as a souvenir when you check out, and these kind of small services make you feel good. The lobby is on the hill about 2nd floor, so I unloaded my luggage and parked for free in the outdoor parking lot below, but later I found out that there is a parking lot accessible by elevator at the bottom of the building. If you are going, please take note..

The hotel is amazing! The spa is truly 5-star, and the food is exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious and of high quality. The saunas are unique, offering stunning views. It’s a perfect choice for a family trip or a relaxing getaway. We’ve already booked our next stay

Pros: - good location. Bus stop right outside hotel to the slopes - nice rooms, cleaned daily (note no tea or coffee facilities in the room), comfy beds To note: there are 2 main spa areas. One just for hotel guests (rooftop, nice views, nice spa) and the separate spa which is for public access (this is the main spa used in social media posts. This is very popular with families. If you want a quieter experience, access the rooftop spa). You can access the public spa for a day if you are not a hotel guest. Cons: We spent a long time researching this hotel and chose it due to the well advertised meal options, which could cater for dietary requirements. My partner is allergic to gluten and dairy. We emailed the week before confirming this, to get a response that this would be no problem to cater for. We stayed for 5 nights on half board and had issues from day 1. The staff misunderstood ‘dairy’ allergy, with ‘lactose’ free. A mistake they admitted on day 3. On day 4, when we spoke with the bar and restaurant manager, he admitted that all of my partners meals should have been prepared in their allergy section in the kitchen, which they had not been. (By this point, we had been to reception twice, been promised a chef would assist every mealtime with guidance round the buffet, and other meal options - which was only provided once, had to stop chefs at an open grill using the same hot plate and utensils to prepare dairy free meals with the same equipment used to make non allergy meals, and many more issues). The result of this being, my partner was very poorly most of the holiday. The staff were rude, we were made to feel uncomfortable during mealtimes, we were not listened to when we repeatedly questioned their preparation and ingredients of supposed ‘dairy free’ meals, and we lost all faith in them. My partners meal choices were hugely restricted due to their lack of food standards education, and the hotel does not adhere to the EU Food Safety Authority Standards reg 1169/2011 stating mandatory allergen information for non pre packed food, including in restaurants and cafes (Specific to Austria - allergen information regulation BGBL II No. 175/2014). To be clear, their buffet food and their menus for set meals does not consistently state allergens associated to each foodstuff. We were not offered any compensation. We would never return, will not recommend, and would advise to approach with caution if you have food allergies.

We visited the Kaprun area many times over many year’s skiing with family and friends, we would use the public facilities water World Spa of Tauren Hotel during each occasion, we always wanted to experience the residents private facilities of the Tauren Hotel during the summer, for a big birthday we did exactly the for 10 days, the whole experience exceeded expectation's, the whole area with dedicated cycling and walking tracks around Kaprun and Zell Am See, the hotel is central and an ideal base for day trips like Salzburg - The Glacier - The Power Station and many more, the hotel staff - general hospitality - facilities - shaded underground secure car parking, coming back and using the residence panoramic pool upstairs looking out at the mountains was Heavin, we will be returning for sure.
