The Tunduk guesthouse is just amazing, it is close to the city center of Karakol. The hosting family speaks well english and are very wellcoming. The rooms are great too. Shops, bar, and restaurants just around the corner. 5 star place to me.

Very comfortable stay. Felt like at home away from home. A very friendly family runs this guest house. Owners Aigulu and her husband Ulan speak good English and can help with any questions. Aigulu organised hiking to Altyn-Arashan hot springs which we liked very much. House is new, rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is very clean. Breakfast is super big. Will come back again to Karakol not inly for the views but because if this family too.

1. You will be staying with an amazing host family 2. Breakfast was the best I ever had in Kyrgyzstan 3. The host organized the Ala Kul lake trek for me with a very helpful guide at a reasonable price. They have a very good local network of professional guides and can also arrange camping equipment on rent.
