Lake victoria houseboat was so clean and Manzoor yatoo caretaker was so polite and friendly and very humble. We stay here 1 night on november 24 You should come here and stay at lake victoria hseboat.you will feel like a boss food was superb and view was vey nice.

I had high hopes for our houseboat stay, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the boat had not been properly cleaned. "kitchen" is complete nightmare. Three people had food poising post we had their food. if you are veg - completely avoid it. You wont have any food option for the amount you pay for it. Take a shikara ride and stay in a hotel. Completely avoid this houseboat. It's not worth the money or your time In short, the houseboat was uncomfortable, dirty, and unsafe. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.

The houseboat stay was a unique experience and included a complimentary one-hour shikara ride. However, it lacked air conditioning, which wasn't mentioned beforehand. Considering Srinagar's hot weather, this made the room quite uncomfortable, especially during the daytime. If you can handle the heat, you'll likely enjoy the houseboat experience.

Please don’t visit this houseboat. Worst service and worst behaviour. For everything there is a charge even if you wish butter in your toast still charges are applicable. Torn curtains, they don’t provide soaps, no cleaning of rooms. The attendant Nissar is most misbehaved server.

Our first experience of staying a night in a Dal Lake houseboat in Kashmir came true recently. With innumerable houseboats there, it may be difficult to distinguish one from the other. But our experience here was pleasant, with clean rooms and bathroom with continuous hot water and personalized services of the caretaker. Dinner was made as per our preference though the breakfast choice was rather limited. Overall nice feel.

Third class service Third class behaviour We were freezing at 0 degree Celsius but they don’t allow to use room heater. No warm or hot water. It was terrible day staying in this houseboat. Please don’t come

Staying here was a wonderful experience that every visitor to Kashmir should include on their trip. The houseboat was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the decor showcased the beautiful craftsmanship that Kashmir is known for (including rugs, wood carvings, paper mache, etc.). The staff was very helpful and accommodating and were able to help us with things like laundry service, boat taxi transport, etc. One of our favorite parts was the breakfast (which was always excellent) and the dinner service which was built to our preferences in terms of spice level, non-veg/veg, etc. Would definitely recommend.
