This is a beautiful, warm and welcoming resort. We live in the mountains, and the temperature difference between day and night is very large. The children wore long sleeves when they had dinner. This is the first time we stayed in a hotel with a stove. When we were having dinner, the waiter came to ask if we needed to use the stove to warm up the room in the living room and master bedroom. When the children were getting ready to go to bed, they opened the quilts and found that there were hot water bottles in each quilt. It was warm and comfortable, and it warmed up all of our ❤️ [Wangchai][呲牙] Then there was another place that touched us. When choosing dessert after the meal, I told the waiter that we wanted vanilla ice cream. He told me that they only had one mixed type, one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of strawberry. I said it was okay, so let's just leave it like that. When it was served, he helped us change to two scoops of vanilla [呲牙] because he knew that our whole family liked to eat vanilla ice cream, and you must try this vanilla ice cream here, it's really delicious [呲牙]

This beautiful lodge is nestled on the hillside overlooking a valley and consists of different luxury cabins that feature everything that you need to relax from a full day in the Ngorongoro crater. The entrance to the conservation area is just 10 minutes away which allows for ideal usage of time when visiting Ngorongoro. The views are stunning and the food (both breakfast and dinner) were delicious with staff making sure we had everting we need. A small pool is available as well as a gift shop supporting the local community. Would definitely recommend a sundowner on the terrace overlooking the valley!

We loved everything about our stay from the welcome song by the Maasai to our giant cabin. All staff our very helpful and kind. Norbert, our waiter was excellent! He ensured we never walked away hungry and remembered our favorite drinks. He went above and beyond to create a magical outdoor dining experience for our last night. Also, the turn down service here is amazing! We felt like we were truly living in livery our entire stay. We only stayed two nights here and it truly wasn’t enough time. The location is also perfect with only a 10 minute drive to the park entrance of the crater.

There are not enough superlatives to describe Neptune Ngorongoro: proximity to the park entrance, immaculate grounds full of beautiful flowers, sumptuously decorated log cabin style spacious suites, gourmet meals - management and staff leave no detail to chance and make sure every guest has the best stay. The night wasn’t cold at all, yet we opted for lighting up the fireplace in the living room and bedroom and did not regret it. A hot water bottle in bed was a special touch as well. I was very touched that the team made quite an effort wishing me a belated birthday with a cake, candles and a lovely song and dance - moments like this are forever etched in my memory. We stayed only for one night but I can’t wait to come back. Asante sana!

Beautiful property with everything you need for a great stay. Every single staff there attended to your every need. They were all highly professional and welcoming, ensuring you have the most perfect visit! Conveniently located close to the entrance/exit of the crater, so you don’t have a long drive after a Safari day.

Our 7-day safari with Jaribu Africa Adventures was made even more special by our stay at Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. The lodge provided a welcome respite after long days of game drives. The accommodations were excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly attentive. A truly luxurious experience in a stunning location.
