This is a beautiful, welcoming and heartwarming resort. We live on the mountains and the temperature difference between day and night is very large. The children wore long sleeves when they had dinner. This is our first time staying in a hotel with a stove, and when we have dinner, the waiter asks if our living room and master bedroom need to turn on the oven to warm the room first. When the children were going to bed, they opened the bed, and each bed was filled with hot water bags. It was warm and comfortable. It warmed us all [Wangchai] [Cave teeth] and there was a place that moved us. When choosing dessert after dinner, I told the waiter that we wanted vanilla for ice cream, and he told me they had a mix, a ball of vanilla and a ball of strawberries, and I said it was okay. When it was served, he helped us all change to two balls of vanilla [screaming teeth] because he knew our whole family loved vanilla ice cream, and here you must try this vanilla ice cream, it is really delicious [screaming teeth]

A friend and I wanted to decompress after climbing Kilimanjaro and traveled to Lake Manyara, not knowing where we would stay. From Lake Manyara National Park gate, we noticed the lodge perched up on the hill's edge overlooking the Lake and national park (Great views). We figured we would go take a look and see if they were open, given the turbulence this pandemic has caused throughout the hospitality industry. When we got to the Lodge we were greeted by Abu (the lodge manager), Innocent (F&B/Bar manager), their friendly team, and what was for us an excitingly empty lodge (given that we wanted to escape and relax after our climb). It was frightening to hear how the pandemic had placed such pressure on the team and the lodge. Regardless, they have remained open all year and welcomed us with open arms. All-in-all a fantastic experience. For anyone wanting to escape to the Lake Manyara region, I can highly recommend staying at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge. The team was excellent and the facilities were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Octagon Lodge. The hospitality was outstanding, the rooms were cozy, and the food was delicious. The service was exceptional, and the staff welcomed us warmly, surprising us with a beautiful gesture (see photo). We had a great time in the evening at the bar, where we even learned how to play the board game damm by a staff member. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area.
