This is a hotel with old decoration, but many foreigners like it.
First of all, the infrastructure is complete and sufficient.
Mainly in classical style, the breakfast is also very good with a full range of varieties.
The lady at the front desk is very friendly, and many of the waiters are very polite and friendly.

The hotel is humdrum in every respect. Its location off the center city together with its parking garage are convenient. And unfortunately, the city itself has become a shadow of its former self - not very clean, people sleeping on the sidewalks, etc.

Location - easy to find but lots of overflowing bins outside the annex which made the areas look less appealing. Staff - excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Room - we were in the annex. Obviously newer part of the hotel. Room comfortable, all the amenities for overnight stay. I cannot remember the room number but it started with 5. Enter building and the lift and look for the 5th floor, our room appeared to be in the 'basement', so after the shortest lift drop we arrive at our room, a mere 5 steps below ground level. We did have a view out but as the weather was threatening we didn't... Breakfast - super selection of fresh food. Decor of restaurant was a bit dated (same comment for hotel foyer). Clean. We took advantage of the parking - would've been slightly problematic with a 5m long Saab to access the garage, no problem for a Golf. Will go again, just hope the binmen have been.

I stayed there with 5 collegues for an exbhition and we were all very pleased with our stay. The hotel is only a few minutes from the tram station that took us directly to the Exhibition Centre within 15 minutes-ish. It's also within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, beer gardens, grocery stores, etc. The breakfast had a lot of fresh and delicious options for a very good price at 9 euros (2 collegues had to swap due to increasing their stay and their new place charged 18 euros). My room was spacious, modern and I slept very well. The staff was always pleasant and kind. We will definitely book it again for the next fair.

About 10 of us stayed at the hotel for a fair trade. I was very satisfied, both with the communication before our trip and then service during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. The only negative was that street-facing rooms on the first level got quite noisy because of loud passers-by or possibly late-coming guests having a chat before coming in. Not sure the hotel can do anything about that, though. Luckily, the hotel is on a side street, not a main one with lots of traffic. I'd stay here again and can recommend it. The location is also great, walking-distance to many restaurants or even some shopping.
