My only regret is we only stayed for one night! Andre is a fabulous host and the hotel is very cute. Make sure you plan to eat breakfast there, it is amazing, many items are farm to table. The rooms are ample in size, ours having an access to the large wrap around balcony. If you are used to a super soft mattress you might find these a bit firm but I enjoy a firm mattress! Pillows were fluffy and not so thick as to crank your neck!

A beautiful environment with a very pleasant and great approach to guests. The Cis family is very accommodating and they try to please you as much as possible. Great breakfast, all from regional suppliers, fantastic homemade milk, cheeses, fruits, vegetables. Excellent wines, sauna, beautiful rooms with an impressive view of the Alpine hills. We leave filled with positive energy and great spring water, which is everywhere around here.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful surrunging. Exceptional service from the owner, lovely views and outstanding breakfast. Hotel is situated next to the small river - which gives you a peaceful sounds. Regardless if you want to stay for 1 night only or for a longer stay - this place is a great choice.

Andres is the kindest most helpful host you could wish for. The hotel is very comfortable, great location, very organized and immaculate. My family felt like we were welcomed into a home. Every need or question was met kindly. Thank you! Andres es la persona mas amable que te puedas imaginar. El hotel es muy comodo, excelente ubicación, muy organizado y perfectamente limpio. My familia sentimos que eramos como bienvenidos a una casa. Cualquier necesidad o pregunta atendida de la manera mas amable. Gracias!

When my friend and I arrived, Andre (the owner/operator) greeted us and offered us drinks. This is fairly normal but then he took about 10 - 15 min to get to know us. Where we were from, what we did for a living, were we had been so far on our vacation and were we were going next. He took the time to educate us about the town we were in. The history, people and business of the town were made clear. We felt extremely welcome and informed right off the bat! Andre later informed us of an excellent restaurant just 2 min away by car. The views of the mountains and valley below were stunning and the food was mouth-watering. The next day, Andre informed me about the Sauna in his hotel just downstairs. It was awesome! Steam and dry heat rooms, showers, foot baths, delicious water to drink and lounge chairs to relax in afterwords. The breakfast was excellent as well! Cooked-to-order omelets, cereals, bread, fresh cheese and milk that was inside of a cow just hours before it was served. I still remember the taste! If you are a fan of Schnapps, Andre is your man too. He has a serving cart filled with different kinds of Schnapps and knows the history and origin of each. I liked the tangerine Schnapps and blood orange Schnapps so much, I had Andre mail two bottles to some family back in the US. I had to go to UPS.com, pay for and generate the label then Andre attached the label to a box he already had. It was easy! Suffcie it to say, I will be coming back as soon as I can. Don't skip this place!

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima settimana a Kartitsch in questo delizioso hotel a conduzione familiare nella splendida e ancora intatta Gailtal. André, che parla perfettamente in italiano, è stato un padrone di casa gentilissimo e premuroso, e ci ha aiutato nell'organizzazione quotidiana di escursioni e serate nei dintorni. Colazione ottima con tutti i prodotti tipici della valle (l'hotel fa parte del circuito "Osttirol Fruhstuck") e abbondante, sia dolce che salata. L'hotel è facilmente raggiungibile, sulla strada principale della vallata, ma molto tranquillo. Ci è stata data una camera più grande di quella prenotata, un piacevolissimo "upgrade", affacciata sul paese e i monti circostanti, dove il rumore più forte che sentivamo era quello del ruscello sottostante. L'hotel dispone di una zona wellness con sauna, bagno turco, sauna ad infrarossi, kneipp, zona relax e un bel giardino esterno dove passeggiare a piedi nudi. E' stato un piacevolissimo rifugio nell'unica giornata piovosa della vacanza. Le camere sono arredate in maniera tradizionale, con minifrigo e tutto quanto il necessario, sensazione di pulizia e ordine dovunque, un posto ideale per rilassarsi. Disponibile per i clienti anche un grande freezer per le mattonelle di ghiaccio e quant'altro necessiti di conservazione. La biblioteca dell'hotel è fornitissima di guide turistiche ed enogastronomiche locali. Disponibili numerosi deplinat e mappe sulle numerose possibilità di svago e gli eventi dei dintorni. Ci torneremo per visitare la vallata in inverno! Consigliato, sia per l'hotel in sé, sia per la zona in cui è inserito, poco turistica, molto tradizionale e ricchissima di possibilità escursionistiche, gastronomiche e culturali. Considerare l'assenza di ascensore per persone con eventuali limitazioni alla deambulazione.

Siamo stati con la mia famiglia, in estate. Il proprietario è stato estremamente disponibile per ogni informazione e sempre attento alle nostre esigenze. Colazione ricca e buona, sauna molto bella, ambiente accogliente in un paesaggio alpino. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo splendido hotel per una settimana. La struttura è immersa in una tranquillità assoluta, con un ruscello che scorre poco distante, creando un'atmosfera rilassante e serena. La vista sulle Dolomiti è semplicemente mozzafiato. Un elemento che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale è stata la gentilezza e l'ospitalità dell'oste. Fin dal nostro arrivo, ci ha accolto con un sorriso caloroso e ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire a casa. La sua dedizione nel garantire che ogni ospite si senta curato e apprezzato è davvero ammirevole. La colazione è stata un altro punto di forza del nostro soggiorno. Ogni mattina ci siamo deliziati con una selezione di prodotti tipici tirolesi, tutti freschi e genuini. I lattici locali, i salumi e le marmellate fatte in casa erano semplicemente deliziosi. In aggiunta, la vista dalle finestre della sala colazione rendeva ogni pasto un'esperienza indimenticabile. Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel a chiunque cerchi un rifugio di pace e bellezza naturale, con un'ospitalità che fa davvero la differenza. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare! Bis bald!
