You can enjoy beer and highball for free at night. There are indoor baths and open-air baths on the top floor, and the hot spring water is good. I stayed at another ryokan the day before, but I felt that the water was much more slippery than that, and I used it as it was. There's ice cream next to the hot spring, which is quite delicious. You can leave your luggage before/after check-in. When I went, I gave rice as a gift when I checked out as a gift to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Shinkansen at Ureshino Onsen Station.
