It was a great trip, especially with a few good friends. Although there was no opposite sex, it did not affect our enjoyment of life and emotional release!
The hotel is really perfect, with complete facilities, pleasant environment, and all three meals in the restaurant are well arranged. It was also a romantic party... Walking along the white beach in the morning and evening, riding a motorboat with the sunset... Perfect!
Next time, I can really bring my family to Sang Island for a trip. It is hospitable and the scenery is pleasant!

We visited Gold resort to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday - I booked Gazebo candlelight private dinner on the beach. It was absolutely romantic and amazing, we were speechless. The manager, Anthony, was very polite, helpful and supportive to make sure our evening goes perfect- we have been emailing about the surprise dinner in advance and he provided detailed overview on what to expect. The staff of Gold resort A la carte restaurant are amazing, kind and will do whatever they can to make your evening magical. Our romantic private dinner on the beach was beautifully decorated, we enjoyed 6 course dinner which was delicious, additionally I ordered a personalised cake and bottle of bubbles.we had our waitress Grace who was taking amazing care of us. I can only thank Mr. Anthony and the team for perfect birthday evening for my boyfriend.

Absolutely loved my stay at Gold - from the fantastic teams to the great food at all the resort outlets, I couldn't have asked for more. The beach the resort sits on is absolutely stunning and doesn't get impacted by the tides at all - which is a rare thing for Zanzibar! Don't forget to go on a private sunset excursion on the traditional boat, such a special moment!

I would like starting saying that the sea and the beach in front of the Gold is just incredible. The reception welcome you with smiles and they are so attentive to be there for you at any time, solving any issue that could emerge. I would like to thank the Gold Restaurant by the beach, starting from the executive chef and the sous chef Warren for making us feel at home, actually for letting us experience and savor the flavors of Zanzibar, for making us feel special (I highly recommend the tagliatelle and the lobster… simply spectacular!!!). To the staff of the Gold restaurant, especially Grace and Fadhila, for the exceptional and professional service, always attentive. Thank you to Issa and Lezingo for the smart entertainment never intrusive, always perceptive, and ready with a smile. To the staff of the Kilimanjaro restaurant for the incredible and delicious breakfasts, to Tuno for the always perfectly cooked eggs, and to Salma and all the waiters for their attention, care, and warm smiles. The food is just amazing!!! Finally, to Roberto, the hotel’s General Manager, as well as Ramses and Nicole, thank you for creating an incredible, welcoming, and high-level atmosphere, ensuring that the kindness and spirit of this island are highlighted and shared through the fantastic people that you are. The most amazing experience would 1000% return and recommend We went as a big family to celebrate my sisters birthdays and we still can’t believe how attentive the staff were and how special they made us feel. No request was too big, the rooms were spacious and clean, the beach and pool were incredible and we felt so so safe We also enjoyed the spa a lot!
