From the moment we arrived, we felt as if time had slowed down. The peace, the breathtaking views, and the kindness of the entire team made us feel at home in a place that offers so much more than we ever expected. The front desk team was welcoming and always ready to help, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was simply perfect. A special thank you to Kelvin for his constant courtesy and to Chef Ally, who always found a way to tailor delicious vegetarian dishes just for me. Ocean Boutique Hotel is the perfect place for couples looking for an unforgettable escape refined, relaxed, and truly heartwarming. Pole pole, always!

I was looking for total relaxation before the rainy season, and Ocean Boutique Hotel delivered beyond expectations. From the very first day, we felt pampered by the kind and attentive staff. the cleanliness was flawless, the food was prepared whit care and attention to detail, and the boutique size of the hotel ensured a peaceful, intimate atmosphere, exactly what we wanted, whit no crowds or caos. The beach was truly fascinating: wide and quite, whit just a few beach boys who were always discrteet and never intrusive. I knew about the tide phenomenon and deliberately chose this side of the island to experience its wilde, semi-deserted charm. Both high and low tides offered their own beauty, colors, reflections, and silence that stay in your memory. Special thanks to Kelvin and Mariam from the restauPole poletheir warmth and smiles, to Viscard for the great wine advice, and to all the staff for taking such good care of us. We'll be back.

An excellent place if you want a resort. Sea, pool,gym, spa etc. Exactly right if you want to laze about and drink. Good for kids. Less good if you've got any sort of mobility problems as many steps up to main public areas. These steps are treacherous during the rainy season. The food is varied and good. The music during dinner can drown out conversation but no-one seemed to mind. Popular with large parties. The standard room is good-sized with usual amenities but can be prone to flooding during tropical rains. Staff excellent. Many guests are happy to stay put for their entire stay. Beach boys polite but persistent. Travel to Stone Town can take 1 to 2+ hours depending on traffic.

This hotel is well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was fine and kept immaculately clean. The food was generally good. However, this hotel should be a place of relaxation for all, but the smoking policy, or lack of one, made it impossible to enjoy clean air on the beach, at the pool or in dining areas. Although there are a couple of non-smoking areas in the bar and restaurant area, non-smokers have to walk through smoking areas to get to them. The reception area is equally bad in this regard. For this reason I could not recommend this hotel to any non-smoker. This is a shame as this could be a really good hotel.

6 nights, 3 nights without air conditioning. In the morning the maintenance men came to "fix" it but couldn't fix it..even though one day he even snapped and threw water in the room and suitcase.. the so-called manager named AJIT did nothing about it, didn't even suggest changing the room...otherwise a useless man who blamed other things, e.g. food poisoning which my wife also got from the salad...said they can't prove it was caused by the salad, even though she vomited 2 hours after the meal... The food and beverage manager does his job well, points for that and also big points for the restaurant staff. The wait for the afternoon food at the pool bar was nerve-wracking. every time it was like an hour of waiting... a great hotel and great beaches+overzealous salespeople on the beach!

It's just so refreshing when you come to write a review and the positive words just keep flowing. This hotel is absolutely faultless from the very first interaction, making the booking with Antonie and his team, to our amazing workshop and conference in the incredible facilities, to the beautiful rooms (we were upgraded to the beach rooms on day two, and just wow!), to the impeccable meals overseen by the tirelessly attentive Scott from Scotland – what else can I say? It was perfect. I want to say a special thank you to Antonie for everything he did to make our stay and conference flawless. I'll definitely be back.

This is a wonderful resort that has an amazing pool, lovely beach, good food and super staff. Even when full there are lots of places to sit and plenty of pool loungers. The rooms are spacious with great air-conditioning and spacious bathrooms. It has a number of bars, and a lot of steps. Though you can access around the site on ramps. The entertainment is good. But could use a better sound system and be a bit tighter, some of the things go on a bit too long. Communication is not a strength of the hotel, information in the rooms is a bit all over the place. There is a board at breakfast about what's on, but it's not always clear where. The SPA is very good with good massages that are superb value. Internet is very good, so an app with what's on, offers etc would be useful. There is not a lot around, a row of shops next door in an alley, though you do get pounced on a bit! Food is all excellent with great choice. Avoid the cornflakes and frosties, the dispensers aren't sealed so the humidity really gets to them. We would recommend the hotel for a Zanzibar beach stay, but would add a stay for a couple of nights in a hotel in Zanzibar town which would add to the Zanzibar experience.

We had an amazing time at Ocean Paradise. There were 4 of us staying in adjoined seafront bungalows. The bed was too hard for me but very quickly after a request they had put a mattress topper on the bed making it extremely comfortable. Aircon worked very efficiently. All inclusive food and drink was fantastic. Great caring staff. Amazing swimming pool. Only down side for me is that I hate seaweed. I had to carefully tread my way through it but once past it the sea was beautifully warm. I would highly recommend staying here
