"What a wonderful experience I had at Le Saint Tropez Hotel!
From the very first moment, the service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always willing to help and make our stay even more special.
The facilities are simply beautiful. Every corner of the hotel is carefully designed and kept in perfect condition, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness is impeccable, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay.
And what can I say about the food... spectacular! Every dish is a delight, with flavors that truly stand out. The variety and quality of the food are exceptional, and every meal was a culinary experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
In short, I am absolutely satisfied with every aspect of my stay at Le Saint Tropez.

"It was my third or fourth stay here and it was great as always! The location on the beach is brilliant, the environment very nice.. rooms big and well equipped.. restaurant on the beach also okay, do not expect super quality meal, more average and overpriced, beer quite expensive (sometimes served hot, not cold).. only one dislike, they always charge +3% when you pay the bill by a card (with their overpriced prices they should have this already included in the price). The overall experience is very good and those minor things which I didn't like.. well, I will survive."

"That rare case when reality exceeded expectations!
I can note the following advantages: the room has new plumbing, furniture, equipment, everything works, nothing is broken anywhere, nice snow-white bed linen, the air conditioner works perfectly in all modes, the staff is very friendly. I especially liked that all requests can be sent through the official RIU application. In it, you can order water, ask to update the mini bar, change bed linen, book a table in the a la carte restaurant and much more, very convenient.
The hotel is located on a beautiful beach!"

"It was a great trip, especially with a few good friends. Although there was no opposite sex, it did not affect our enjoyment of life and emotional release!
The hotel is really perfect, with complete facilities, pleasant environment, and all three meals in the restaurant are well arranged. It was also a romantic party... Walking along the white beach in the morning and evening, riding a motorboat with the sunset... Perfect!
Next time, I can really bring my family to Sang Island for a trip. It is hospitable and the scenery is pleasant!
If you don't want to step on the pit of the hotel, come here!"

"The hotel environment is good, the beach is very white, but the price is too high. Let’s talk about the service first, the room needs an extra bed, and I have to wait for a few hours before I come; I need to get a switch plug, and there is no shadow until I check out; I check out on the last day and call on time, I really won’t let you for a minute. Delay. Besides the facilities, the bed in the standard room will move, so there are sizzling sounds upstairs and downstairs every day, and the sound insulation is very poor. On the wall, the hand cramps when you press it. In the villa, all the sockets are European-style. You must bring your own adapter. The swimming pool in the villa can only be regarded as a footbath, because it is only 60 cm deep."

Hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food.
Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill.
Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling.
We just enjoy our time during our stay.

The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏
The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access).
The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂
The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few.
It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach.
It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. You can thank me later❤️❤️❤️

There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.
There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.
The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.
If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.
The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.
Overall though 9.5/10
I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

GGuidoThe hotel is located on one of the best beaches in the north of the island, approximately 1.20 hours from the airport. The property was very well maintained and well-maintained. There was security at both the main entrance and the beach area, so I never felt unsafe. The internet worked perfectly throughout the hotel, so I had a signal even on the beach, except for the last day when it didn't work properly for a short while. The room was quite large, as was the bathroom, and everything was in good condition. All the outlets had USB ports and could also connect different types of cables, so there was no need for adapters. They also provided complimentary water every day. Absolutely all the staff, including reception, security, the restaurant, etc., were very friendly throughout.
The breakfast was very complete and lacked nothing. The lunch and dinner menus at the buffet restaurant were generally good as well, with daily variations. It also has an à la carte restaurant where the food was good and reasonably priced. The only negative thing to mention was that there could have been more lounge chairs around the pool, as there was room for more, certainly at least eight or ten. Also, the all-inclusive package had several restrictions, such as excluding premium drinks. However, some drinks shouldn't have been considered premium; brands like Absolut, JB, Bacardi, etc., should be the minimum. Finally, there were a few power outages that lasted no more than a few seconds, but that seemed to be more a problem with the area than the hotel itself, and it didn't cause any major inconveniences either. In short, everything was excellent, with some minor issues that were easily resolved, but if I returned to Zanzibar, I would probably stay at the same hotel.

GGrace S TMy friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!

Beautiful looking hotel, good location, wonderful swimming pool, nice pier and the little islets for the rooms are quite nice.
For the rooms it's another story, it may have been a 5 star 10 years ago but not today.
Furniture stained and user, ditto for bedding, average cleanliness. Overall it deserves a major renovation to regain 5 stars. We had to ask to change rooms…
Average but correct food, a big plus for the Jetty restaurant whose dishes are simply excellent.
In short, in summary the value for money is very average, if you have this kind of budget, take another 5 *, otherwise pay less and take a nice 4 * at half price.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the ocean views and relax by the water. The hotel was impressively clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they made us feel right at home. While the amenities weren’t quite five-star, they were more than enough for a comfortable stay. The lack of a TV and the occasional power outages didn’t bother us at all, as it gave us the perfect opportunity to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time together. Plus, it was very affordable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, authentic Zanzibar experience!

DDIThere are very few Chinese here, most Europeans. It is very big and beautiful. The rooms are also very large. There are balconies and bathtubs. The decoration style is very modern. There are more than a dozen houses without elevators. They are like a scenic spot, in fact they are. In this way, you should bring a bracelet after you come in. The facilities in the hotel and the swimming pool can be used. All meals are included, and unlimited drinks and beverages are included. It is a good place for leisure and vacation.

AAna_stasiiaVery nice location on the main part of the beach area in Kendwa beach. The hotel room is rather basic, and there was no hot water after the first night. The tap in the bathroom also had metal/ rust coming from the tap. The shower basically dribbled water and made a mess in the bathroom. There was no room cleaning during then2 days we spent here. The WiFi didn’t work at all making it very difficult to work online if your job requires it. The room had only 2 power points for charging devises and these were local power point so you’ll need an adaptor from the local store in order to charge your phone/ laptop. The included breakfast is basic- an omelette , a slice of toast, some fruit and a crepe. Only instant coffee includes. A cappuccino was an extra $4 a cup.
