It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah.
You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down.

It was a true example of what Zanzibar should be. Beautiful space, the pool, the beach, good breakfast, exceptionally polite staff willing to help. The bed and pillows made the vacation worth every bit of the rest required.Not the best towels.

Beautiful property with a great aesthetic and vibe. The rooms are fabulous, huge and well designed, very comfortable and full of all the amenities one could want. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lots of tropical foliage, several swimming pools and comfortable beach and pool chairs. The open air lobby is another great feature of the hotel. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the General Manager Eric Mugenya who went out of his way to ensure we had a great visit. All the other staff at hotel we found to be very pleasant and helpful, while the hotel itself was excellent, it was the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff that helped make our stay superb. We also found the food to be delicious. The only downside, and this no fault of the hotel is that the beach is only at its best during high tide, this is the case with all the beaches this side of Zanzibar. Fortunately the many swimming pools make up for this.

The team at Toa hotel and spa is amazing, an extremely warm welcome from the staff especially Cicilia and Erik the manager. We reached very early and they were very understanding to allow to check in way earlier than the normal time. Also when checking out, it was very surprising to allow to hold the room past the checkout time due our flight time. The hotel is very good, food is super nice and fresh, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the pool is good and the service is top notch.

The caring and friendly waiters and waitresses to the fantastic comfy spacious rooms to the amazing swimming pools in almost every corner of the hotel made my stay at the hotel more comfortable and warm plus the food and the beach bar made my experience a memorable one

First class service all the way. The staff made themselves well known to all in our group and they were super friendly and efficient. Couldn't ask for more. Great pool with a swim up bar staffed by some great bar-keeps. The beach is pretty average - shallow for a very long way.
