Appearing on the National Register of Historic Places, the 15-story building features a limestone and brick exterior with terra cotta embellishments. Designed in the Gothic Revival style by the Kansas City architectural firm of Smith, Rea and Lovitt, construction of the Kansas City Club Building was started in 1918 and completed in 1922. The club was organized for the purpose of cultivating social and business associations among the leading business professionals in Kansas City. The club remained at this location in the heart of the downtown business district for approximately 80 years. The majority of the spaces represent their originality from the early 1900's where hand-hewn walnut, carved stone, stained glass, and gilded plaster were often used. These architectural wonders have been preserved and returned to their original glory for the benefit of all to ensure a unique and memorable occasion. The Hotel Kansas City is a premier destination that seamlessly combines the old-world charm of a historic social club with modern luxury and elegance. 是去Kansas City看演唱會的，離場館開車大概十分鐘。酒店還挺老的，看得出翻新過，但整體設施老。水需要問前台拿，咖啡機全是灰。還好我從國內帶了插瓶裝水就可以直接燒水的神器（另外美國電壓和日本一樣110v，記得看下要帶去的電器。比如國內戴森不能用，衹能華強北買了一個D版110v吹風機去）。
酒店的早餐是大堂裏的cafe出品的點餐，還挺不錯的，好吃又便捷。
差不多是國內商旅酒店的感覺。

Antique elegance with modern comfort

Wonderful and beautiful.
Passing through while on a road trip, so our stay was short and a place to rest our heads.
The only items of concern we’re coincidently in the place we likes the most, The bathroom. The bathroom is beautiful and amazing and is easily noticeable how much effort and time went into designing the space. However, The bathroom fan/vent wasn’t working, causing the bathroom to over steam and get wet or on the opposite have residual odor if someone used the bathroom. Also the shower knob to turn on the water seemed to be missing the little screw because when I went to turn the knob it fell off when it was upside down. That’s all that we found concerning.
I would like to know where you purchased the body wash, shampoo, and hand soap as it was amazing! This is not your typical items and we were blown away on how great they smelled and how felt.

Great atmosphere, unique aesthetic (including the long six-story chandelier in the stairwell and the incredible stained glass wall in the Tudor Room). Nice to be downtown, near the free tram, with easy access to Broadway Blvd. Wonderful valet staff for car parking/retrieval. Construction all over the place around the hotel, but that's not their fault.

Impeccable service from the valet to the front desk and everywhere in between. We didn't get to dine with them this time around, but will try to do so on our next visit. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
