The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The only drawback was that the elevator was broken during check-in time and the location was a bit out of the way.

Our stay at Yew Lodge was lovely. Staff were so welcoming. The room had everything we needed and more. Everywhere was spotless. It was in an excellent location to fly from East Midlands airport. We will definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff.

Had a fabulous stay!! We actually stayed on the Saturday night for World Superbikes that were taking place at Donington Park, the hotel was only eight miles from the circuit. The hotel didn't realise how busy they would be in the restaurant. They coped brilliantly with the extra covers that they weren't expecting. The food was fabulous. What we also liked about the hotel was that it was off any main roads, so I would thoroughly recommend this to bikers in the future who want their bike to be nice and safe. The room itself was immaculate and spacious....we stayed in an executive double. There is an additional £8 to park your vehicle in the hotel car park.... but a lot of hotels are now doing this. Overall the staff couldn't do enough for you....well done to all the team!!

I came with family for the New Year Eve Gala from the moment we arrived the reception staff were excellent. The gala evening was of excellent value for the money. The food, entertainment, Photo Booth and the ****** tables were excellent. We stayed over night and the refurbished rooms were of a high standard and breakfast the following morning was delicious and a good variety of dishes. Well done to the whole team making our stay so special.

From the initial arrival, the hotel team couldn’t do more to be welcoming. The bedroom was beautifully presented and incredibly clean. The lounge and bar areas, are very well designed and comfortable to sit and enjoy a drink. The breakfast offering, was very comprehensive and wrapped up a lovely experience well.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel because of the spa facilities and the restaurant.I reserved our room over the phone, we went on Saturday 12th for my wife’s birthday, our nightmare started , on arrival we was told the spa was closed at no stage during booking we was told this I should have walked away then we decided to stay as we had made the 50 mile journey, we already booked our 3 course meal at marcos and was looking forward to it, our starters where buffalo chicken strips which resembled chicken nuggets when we pointed this out to the waiter he apologised our main meal was worse this was a shared mixed grill consisting off 2 pieces of chicken 2 small rack of ribs and 1 small steak to share we did have 5 cherry tomatoes as garnish absolutely horrible no wonder the place was empty Totally upset my wife on her birthday Never again would I waste good money On this hotel , they would have known if they told us about the spa we wouldn’t have booked so kept quiet ,we felt as though we have been ripped off the manager had no explanation and was more worried about what review I would leave

Can't praise Larisa on the reception enough she is an absolute credit to the hotel. From first arriving she was so welcoming and friendly and even offered to move her car for me as she realised I wasn't particulary happy where I had to park my car as it was so busy. And fortunately for me she was on the reception again on my return and greeted me again with a huge smile and asked if the holiday had gone well . Good Customer care doesn't seem to be important these days to some people but I can confirm that Larisa went above and beyond to ensure that this was definitely not the case. She's a credit to the hotel!

Last minute booking. Superb staff, especially reception staff, went above expectations to help me with an issue. Rooms were very clean and refreshed everyday. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Would highly recommend and book again.
