I thought the place was nice, but to be honest the blankets on the bed and in the cupboard annoyed me with static electricity. The shower water came out way too fast. But everything else was great and the people are very nice.

We were very happy and satisfied with the stay, we only arrived at 20:00 from the airport and without hesitation the lady made us some super delicious super, whatever we wanted from the menu. The staff is very, and the accommodation is clean! We will definitely make use of you again!

The Airport Lodge guesthouse is conveniently located in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, very close to the OR Tambo International Airport.. It is the perfect resting place after a very long flight and the ideal place to enjoy some leisure time in this beautiful, laid back environment. This lodge offers its guests very comfortable rooms fitted with ceiling fans, a bar fridge, microwave and an electric kettle, a TV and in addition, tea and coffee are provided. Some cutlery and crockery can be made available on request. And they do provide towels, soap etc. And free wifi is also available. It is a very safe and protected environment. The cleaning staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms are cleaned regularly. The managers of the property are absolutely fantastic, always willing to help and go out of their way to provide whatever support is needed. They are very kind, warm, loving, caring, generous and helpful folks. The hospitality displayed is truly outstanding. The rooms are designed around beautiful gardens which offer pleasant outdoor shaded areas. A sumptuous breakfast is available in the dining room. Make sure you let the managers know what time you will be available for breakfast in the mornings, which is usually served between 7am - 9am. Parking is available on the property. Transport to and from the airport can also be arranged. Please note that the guesthouse is located very close to supermarkets, banks, post offices etc within 5 minutes using a vehicle or taxi/uber or you can choose to walk, if you wish to. In addition, the guesthouse also offers tours around Johannesburg and a few surrounding areas, so if you are staying in Johannesburg for a few days, it would be wonderful to take advantage of these tours to become more acquainted with South African history and the culture. I highly recommend the Airport Lodge guesthouse and hope you will enjoy your stay there as much as I did.

The first stay was ok, but it was a family house renovation, cockroaches because I booked it close to me. The room was on the second floor pushing open the door to the balcony, where there were tables and chairs but thick dust. The second stay was very angry 😡, because there was something wrong on the first day of two days, the next day they found that they sold the good room I ordered at a higher price to later people without my consent. I could go to the room where I was almost in, and the hot water in the room was put for 20 minutes before it came out. Will not stay at the inn again. I chose this place because I liked the free pick-up and free breakfast. However, in fact, the last pick-up was at 11 o'clock in the evening. I arrived at the airport at 11 o'clock. I said that the pick-up at night would be charged. I am willing to pay, but I can't come to the arrival floor to pick me up. I can be at the bus station. It is well known. South Africa is naturally in a mess, and the probability of being robbed on the road at night is very high! Finally, I paid for a taxi to their hotel and found that the door was closed! The location of the hotel is very biased, there is no street light at night, the black light is blind, the driver is black, everyone is in the position to think about it, feel panic? I know that the front desk will get off work at 11 o'clock in the evening, but I have already emailed that I will land at 11 o'clock and arrive at 12 o'clock. They know it, but they still don't leave anyone. After waiting for a long time, the driver came back and opened the door. At the beginning, the driver refused to give me the door key and asked me to add 200 rand for the night stay. I don't know the cost. I didn't inform when I placed the order on Trip.com. On the second day, I took the shuttle bus to the airport and there was no time to eat breakfast. An unpleasant stay!
