"A new hotel in the heart of Kolonaki, Athens' well-to-do district, the Modernist is a great blend of amenities and service. The hotel opened the week I visited and I expected there to be a few kinks to work out, but there were none! Service is wonderful, staff proactively asked what we needed, from carafes of sparkling water that they brought to the room on request any time of day, to laundry and other things. They also were very keen to know how they were doing, considering they were new. Breakfast is delightful, with a a creative mix of traditional Greek things and other international food. COVID setup is hygienic and efficient. We had a large room, which is not particularly large but has spectacular balconies overlooking the park across the street and with views of Lycabettus Hill. Windows are isolated and do a good job of keeping out the Athenian noise. Finally, the upstairs roof deck is a real delight, quiet, private, with a fantastic view of the Acropolis, and with a telephone to order drinks from downstairs. It's like being at the Hilton Bar across the street, but not paying 20 euros for cocktails. All told, a great start and a wonderful find, I wish the staff all the best of luck!"

"The location is convenient, a taxi to the Acropolis is only a few euros, and there is a subway station 200 meters away, two stops to Syntagma Square, and three stops to the Acropolis. It's not too far to walk to Syntagma Square. There are several bakeries around the hotel, and the bread is delicious. There are also supermarkets, convenience stores, and clinics. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and is very safe. The surrounding area is also safe. We live on the first floor and it's not noisy. It's a very small hotel, I'm not sure if there is a gym, and it definitely doesn't have a swimming pool. The room is large in size, with a mini kitchen counter, a double sofa bed, and two single beds. The hotel front desk staff take the initiative to say hello, and the guests are mainly foreigners. The subway should be Line 3, which goes to the airport every half an hour and can also go to the cruise terminal."

Amazing
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

GGuest UserNice hotel good view reasonable breakfast. Is convenient access to all the restaurants. People surrounding friendly n generous. Will recommend to all friends n relatives
LLani RamosI can only say wonderful things about this accommodation. The reception staff is very friendly and attentive at all times. I highly recommend it.
MMarianthiaFirst of all shout out to the cleaning ladies they did a great job cleaning my room everyday and I know their work is pretty hard. Second the people at the reception are lovely and kind, very helpful when asking questions and very nice to talk to. The room was even bigger than the pictures I loved it and felt so comfortable. Also nice that they have Netflix!!!
Pame wild will be my go to hotel when I visit Athens again!!
朱朱This hotel is really good, not rare in Europe! The hotel is located at the end of the Zeus Temple, at the end of the food street. Walking to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square are 1 km away. The way to the Acropolis is full of restaurants and shops, very convenient. The hotel's facilities are complete with slippers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving foam and lotion. Just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. A kettle and tea bags are provided, and a small fridge can store the food you buy. The decoration of the hotel is also very delicate and clean, and the service is very good. The overall feeling is that there are four-star standards in China. It is really rare in Europe! It’s hoping to write a lot of useful information for my friends, because I also like the travellers who leave detailed and true comments.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe service as expected from greek people was excellent and helpful
The hotel location is close to the center and was quite satisfying
facilities were good, a bit crowded at breakfast time
at the first day we had a problem with shower water, leaking out of the door which made the bathroom floor very wet but the problem was fixed immediatly
we had mosquitos in the room and after complaining they provided us with mosquito trap, the thing with mosquitos is critical since my daughter skin is very sensitive and every bite can turn into awful inflammation which what exactly happened to her.
on the last day there was no hot water, so i had to take shower in slightly warm water.
DDean MauriceThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well.
The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor.
The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning.
The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

Very Good
GGuest UserVery good experience! The front desk is friendly. She upgraded me to a double bed, even though I live alone. There's a bar and jacuzzi on the roof.
Bath supplies are complete. Eye masks and earplugs are also provided. The decor is vintage and tasteful, with a record and a record player in the room. Breakfast dishes are extensive, with Greek yogurt and honey as well as Greek salad and feta, which are delicious.
GGuest UserThis is the perfect hotel for someone who’s spending a bit more time in Athens since it has a fridge, laundry machine, etc. really nice stay, clean and comfy, would def come back
GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
