The Tides B&B

David and Doreen were wonderful hosts in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The Tides, located in Ballybunion, is close to the ocean and not far from the interesting town of Listowel. The Tides is also a great base for exploring the Dingle peninsula, and even the Ring of Kerry. The amazing shower and comfortable bed in room 6 are simply wonderful!, and the breakfast is gorgeous! Don't hesitate to book your stay here!

Myself and my partner attended a wedding in Listowel and booked into the Tides Ballybunion through a recommendation from a friend. Thank god for recommendations! This was a truly 5 star experience. The experience began before we arrived with owners David and Doreen reaching out to ensure we were on track for arrival and even organising a taxi for us to bring us to Listowel which was there upon our arrival. The reception of the B&B is warm and inviting, clean, and well presented. The bedrooms are spacious and the standards of cleanliness and presentation are held to an exceptionally high standard. The pillows in the room were like clouds and we even got the name from David to purchase ourselves! Breakfast set up blew us away. Different styles of breads, pastries, cereals, homemade granolas, fruit salads and yogurts, juices and a breakfast of choice to order! We both went for the full Irish which was top class in taste and presentation! The true magic of this place is its owners. Their passion, love and attention to detail for their wonderful property is hard to overlook. It’s hard to find properties like this nowadays. We can’t wait to return. Thank you both for your hospitality.

Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! They provided excellent information about the town and golf course. The room was immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. So much food I could not possibly finish everything. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Ballybunnion!

From start to finish, our stay was absolutely fantastic. Fabulous people and a luxurious, clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Will definitely be back again next year and we will look forward to our stay!

David is a great host from the moment you arrive until you depart. He is a font of local information and a storyteller. His rooms are spotless and spacious. He is located just a few minutes from Ballybunion golf course. He offers several hot breakfast options and can get you going early if you have n early tee time. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our 4th stay in The Tides and you could not ask for a better host and place to go to. The room you stay in is immaculate as always and the breakfast is to die for!!! Will definitely be coming back again next year. Thanks again David and Doreen
