Myself and my family stayed here for one night so we didn't see all the facilities but we had a wonderful stay. We ordered an inter-connecting family room and it was huge! We had two very spacious, spotless bathrooms and very large bedrooms connected by an internal door. The beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective during the heat-wave. The breakfast was nice and the staff were all very pleasant. It was easy to park in the car park provided. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic warm check in with the owner and made to feel extremely welcome. Offered advice on where to go depending on what we fancied explaining where to head in the town for some live music plus nearby festival in Listowel. The place was absolutely spotless and we had a nice luxury room with very large bathroom, lots of storage and great facilities. The room was very comfortable and decorated homely not like your average room. The bed and mattress was outstanding and of luxury quality including large fluffy pillows. We didnt opt for breakfast but left our car in town the night before. The owner kindly offered to drive us back into town to pick up the car in the morning. Great stop over with friendly people and great food

Killarney is a beautiful place and it is a must to take a hotel/apartment with the views you can soak in and live the slow life with those morning coffee with amazing views. Castlerosse golf lodges were exactly that for us on our wedding anniversary trip! The little extra you pay for the Golf Lodge is so worth it with those mountain and lake views to wake up to every morning and a herd of deer blessing you every morning with your morning cuppa. Pure Bliss. The front desk is helpful and accommodating. We booked for 3 nights but we loved it so much that we extended by a night. Check in was smooth and so was check out. The golf lodge has 2 floors, the ground floor (pics attached), has the Tv lounge and dining area with kitchen and the powder room. The first floor has the bedrooms (master bedroom with a huge king size bed) and an even bigger bedroom with one double/queen size bed and 2 single beds. Both the rooms have a Television too! There is fantastic heating in all rooms and bathrooms, so it is very cosy inside despite the cold. The bathrooms are fine except the really old taps of separate cold/hot water which is a little problematic. Kitchen has all basic amenities, cutlery, coffee/tea, toaster/kettle, washing machine/dryer, dish washer, glasses/cups/ cooking utensils etc. It is a 5 mins drive to Killarney town and about the same to Tesco for all the groceries you need. Loved it! Totally recommended!

My husband, myself and two other couples recently spent a fabulous two nights at The Victoria during our holiday tour of Ireland. During our nearly 3-week holiday we stayed in 10 different hotels around Ireland and Scotland and the Victoria House is at the top of the list. The property is beautiful, the rooms were immaculately clean, location is great, food is wonderful and the staff was amazing. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted by Maura and she continued to charm, educate, and entertain us throughout our stay. She was kind, helpful, funny and all around lovely. She readily facilitated reservations and taxis when we needed them, taught us a little Gaelic, gave us tips on local establishments. She is a wonderful asset to the establishment. We also had breakfast in the hotel both mornings and it was delicious--among the best Irish breakfasts we enjoyed during our time in Ireland. Fresh and tasty. The brown bread was wonderful, black pudding delicious and the servers were just lovely. Friendly, funny and helpful. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was delicious as well. Our server there was great as well. The bar staff was superb too, always friendly and happy to meet our requests. The amenities of the hotel were also lovely, we enjoyed relaxing in the 2nd floor lounge area together after our days of touring. The overall location was great, we took a lovely walk back from the Muckross House one of our days there and enjoyed the National Park and its lovely scenery. Overall, we have only positive things to say about our stay at the Victoria and that doesn't always happen while traveling. If we are ever blessed enough to find ourselves back in beautiful Kilarney we would choose to stay here again. Thank to everyone, especially Maura.

We were looking forward to our stay ... Arrived Monday evening where a function for a group was in process.. we selected the hotel as. It was out of town, appeared away from noise of the town… paying at the highest room rate of the season therefore had high expectations.. sadly the opposite. Our room was extremely noisy above the bar & restaurant and beside the guest function toilet .. We were told all bar and lounge areas unavailable to us due to the function & recommended restaurants in the town for dinner ... sadly all closed in town as a Monday evening... others booked out due to options limited We were not offered a room away from the noise .. which as there was a function below .. would have been appreciated The room was adequate but bed was extremely hard … luckily the noise stopped at 10 pm Woken at 7 am with music and smells from the below kitchen ... sadly over priced & disappointed
