Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa

Another amazing stay at Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa. We booked a suite once again as the last time we stayed our suite was absolutely wonderful and well worth the extra money. This time we stayed in the spa building again on the 3rd floor. We had a view over the spa and out to the lake and a balcony with views onto the fells. The sure was huge with plenty of seating and space to relax. The bedroom was separated with a room divider which made it feel cosy. The bathroom was huge with gorgeous shower looking out onto the fells. You also get entry to the spa included with your room. The spa is beautiful, a lovely atmosphere and a good selection of facilities. Various heat experiences, showers, outdoor sauna etc. the relaxation area is lovely too. The infinity pool was my favourite and the views are to die for! The cocktails in the champagne bar were delicious and perfect to have whilst enjoying the views! We booked the Boxing Day sale offer so we also got breakfast included - we had this in our suite and it was delicious! This was easy to order and you can specify a time to have it delivered. We also got an allowance for dinner which we could use in either the falls brasserie or Mizu. This time we went to Mizu and had a fabulous meal. We don’t usually eat a lot of Asian food so we order a selection of things to try with the help of the staff. Food was amazing, service was great and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I can’t fault our stay here at all. Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were very welcoming - I can’t wait for our next stay!

Super location, with excellent and very well run spa. New women's changing rooms are a welcome improvement. Food and room deal was good value. Very comfortable rooms with all the amenities. A most relaxing stay as usual, thanks...

My partner booked this hotel for my birthday. We stayed in the superior double room. The receptionists were lovely and check in was super fast. We went to our room, got changed and went straight to the spa. 2 hours in the spa and all I can say is I could’ve stayed in there all night, the thermal journey in the spa was next level, especially the infinity pool looking over Derwent water. The facilities were immaculate and it didn’t feel too crowded. 17:30, went back to our room to shower and get ready for the evening. We were however met with a problem with the room so called reception who sent the duty manager up to our room straight away, we had this problem rectified within 5 minutes of calling reception who contacted the general manager to speak with us however we didn’t let it spoil our stay. The drinks in the hotel bar were great and not overpriced either! We enjoyed a few of these in the beautiful bar overlooking the sunset on Derwent water. Breakfast the next day was fantastic, there was plenty of continental and hot food choices. Staff were friendly and attentive. When we were checking out we spoke to Marcel the general manager about what occurred the day before and he couldn’t apologise enough, he was so professional and very friendly. We cannot thank him enough for the service he provided, he is a true reflection on this fantastic hotel. We will be returning to Lodore Falls hotel as we loved it so much.

This is how you deal with problems in a kind and efficient manner which reflects to your customers that you care about your guests comfort and run such an efficient hotel….

We stayed in a spa room and were on the winter warmer deal which was superb value. The spa rooms are spacious and so close to the spa and outdoor pool. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us. We ate in both restaurants and had room service breakfast and all were fabulous! Thank you to everyone who looked after us. Wonderful setting, fantastic food and Spa with lovely staff, comfortable beds, lounges and a peaceful area with lovely walks on the doorstep.
