More than a place this place is a real experience! Completely different from my first stay in the Maldives, in an island with a resort, the difference is made by the total immersion in nature, in the life of the village and above all, by the contact with real people who are certainly more "travellers" than tourists". The welcome is formidable (Rashid in the first place) with attentions that surprise even the most demanding (the "staff" organized a surprise birthday party for my wife, after having peeped the date of birth on the passport). Then there are the excursions, daily , with 2-4 hours by boat to eat the coconut on the uninhabited island, the tongues of white sand in the middle of the atoll, snorkelling on the reefs, an evening of fishing from the boat at sunset... all very simple but also very , very true. Very good food based on rice and fish, fresh fruit with variations that satisfy even the most reluctant. The accommodations are extremely well-kept, cleaned twice a day, "spartan" furnishings but, given that you spend most of time at sea, more than welcoming. We were also lucky enough to make new friends and we all vowed to return. See you soon :-)
