Bebatroun Beach Hotel

Hello, This is Tony, lebanese but I live in the USA. I came back to Lebanon for a short stay 2 weeks ago at this hotel. The areas were net and clean, rooms, toilets, restaurants and hygiene were top. Food was good. But the worst thing was the receptionist red hair girl Elisa i think and her manager were so rude to me and my foreign friends. This is unacceptable to hire such unprofessional staff at a reputable place, at least hire people that are mature enough to negotiate and respect their guests and not treat them like peasants. My friends and I were very disappointed by this treatment Won't come back again.

Hi I came from sweden with my friends för vacation.. The hotel was so good .. clean.. the food excellent but the staff who working at the reception were bad . they are not hospitable ....bad at answering the phone even when they do they are not so friendly sound always angry . .. not recommend the hotel at all. the staff in the reception are not professional they don't know how to treat the guests .. this is the secand time im in the hotel for 2 years ago was more better but this time just like kids working in the resepicon without experience cant handel with guests Im sorry for that Thx.

I stayed at the hotel in September 2022, and would like to give the hotel a 5-star rating, but I can't. The hotel is actually very nice, with large, well-appointed rooms, wonderful bathrooms with beautiful views of the Mediterranean from the shower, and good sized balconies. The decor and ambiance of the hotel are very nice, and the rooftop pool area was wonderful. However, the staff was not very friendly and there seemed to be a lot of staff standing around doing nothing during our 3-day stay. Very rarely did the staff say "Hello" or "How can I help you?". I just didn't feel very welcome. As the previous reviewer noted, there was a nominal fee for parking even though the ********** description said that there was free parking. Also, the ********** description said that we would have a room with "2 King Beds" but the hotel does not have any rooms with 2 beds. All of the rooms have 1 King bed. The hotel is located within walking distance of Batroun, a charming town with some great restaurants, bars and shopping in the Old Souk area. The first night, we ate at the on-site restaurant (Mexican fare) and the food was very good. We wanted to charge the meal to our room, but we were told that the hotel and the restaurant are not "connected". The last day of my stay, I walked down to the "beach" which is really a rocky area with fairly rough surf (not suitable for swimming), and there was a lot of trash. I pointed this out to the girl at the front desk, and her reply was "That's because it was really windy yesterday and the trash washes up on the beach when it's windy". I accept that, but the staff that was standing around doing nothing should have been out picking up the trash off the beach. If not for the staff, I would highly recommend this hotel.
