Khon Kaen Hotels with Airport pickup service

So far Thailand's transit system has been great, efficient, and cheap. A train fare from Khon Kaen to Udon Thani was only 25 bahts, which is less than one USD, versus the alternative taxi ride that will set you back 37 USD for an approximate two hour ride. The train was clean and modern looking, have bench style cushion seats, windows that can be open so fresh breeze circulate the car preventing passengers from overheating. The rail cars have restrooms so don't worry about emergency urges. If you forgot to bring along a bottle of water or beverages, there will be someone constantly walking by in the center aisle selling drinks and snacks at a cheap price. Since this train ride was my first one, I'm content with the experience and recommend others to try it out for themselves while traversing through Thailand. Have a wonderful travels... Really modern and well appointed hotel. Probably the most modern in Khon Kaen. Restaurants are decent and not overly priced like other hotels in the area. I stay here because it’s new and there is probably the best gym in the city a 2 min walk from there called Mega Gym. The only issue I had was for a super modern hotel the rooms have old flat screens that are not HDMI compatible. Very strange to be honest as the older hotels in Khon Kaen all have smart TVs. This actually caused me to move during my 2 week stay in the city. Besides that very nice hotel and great staff.

Originally booked as part of test and go scheme for day 5 but with the rule change it was a more regular stay in the end. Have to say the staff here are amazing. This is a Thai owned hotel and complete respect to the owner who didn’t lay his staff off during the pandemic, choosing to stay open and adapt to the changing climate. Hotel is central, traditional and clean and our children loved the swimming pool. The bed was super comfortable. We are breakfast, very good, and at the end of our stay the hotel had a reasonably priced transfer service to the airport. Overall, an excellent experience and just wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back.

The first time searching on various websites Afraid that it will be an old hotel With old-style rooms, but actually not at all, everything is good, the room is good, the water is strong, there is a bottom spray, the breakfast is good. Have a lot to choose from Good location in the city and there is a good place on the 1st floor of the hotel as well.

Very good hotel at a sensible price. Ate breakfast very nice though getting a milk to go with coffee was difficult.Lots of choice and high quality. Ate at the restaurant for dinner and had steak very delicious and only 1300 baht including vat and service charge. Swam in the pool which is lovely but surprisingly cool maybe because it is on floor 28. I would recommend and stay again. Remember this is a modern concept hotel that traditionalists may not favor. Why the bed base is massively oversized l have no idea.

The place is clean, pretty decent and good location. It’s easy to book a grab going to your desired destination. There’s also restaurant next to the hotel. Convenient and very good deal.

Room # 320 - Stayed for just the One night. The Male Receptionist did a great job with an early check in. The room and the hotel is older style. Overnight there was a little Corridor noise, apart from that a really quiet nights sleep thru to dawn. Breakfast was Good...... Good choices of Hot Thai foods ( and very very Yummy ) plus Eggs cooked how you want to. The staff were excellent and the whole breakfast experience was Relaxing and very Enjoyable. We would book and stay here again.

We visited Kohn Kaen in December 2019 for the slik festival. We had an excellent stay at Hotel La Villa. The room was modern, clean and well-equipped, and had a nice view of the koi pond. The service was very good. Khun Bee, speaks excellent English, and she really went out of her way to help us. Breakfast was nice. We especially liked the tropic fruit which was served. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I am on way home from visit my wife's family in Kranuan. Need a bed in Khon Kaen 2 nights before early flight to Perth tmro morning. Had a very filling breakfast this morning, just about anything you need, except if you dumb Aussie like me, COFFEE, cereal, fruit yoghurt honey breakfast ... so from 7 11 up the street, I had that stashed in the little room fridge. Snuck it into the restaurant this morning and helped myself to the fantastic service of staff and fresh fruit and COFFEE made a good old mess haha. Once again really good service by staff that should get a pay rise. Even the room cleaning lady was friendly

As an American geology professor, I have stayed in many Thai hotels and have found none the offers the unique simple elegance of The Charm. A quiet oasis in the heart of a fast-paced, evolving neighborhood, the Charm is a  very special and surprisingly affordable hotel.  Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, great hot showers, excellent free breakfasts with a variety of Asian and traditional American choices, a beautiful lobby and eating area, and a fleet of free loaner bicycles  are just some of the reasons I love staying at the Charm. Attentive staff members are so friendly and, although not all will respond to me in English, they usually understand me and will consult a co-worker who can facilitate, if necessary. The highlight of my stays at the  Charm is a zen-like garden park, with a large lotus-filled pond, and a walking trail that features native  stones and plants. These immaculate grounds host families of geese, chickens, and fish ponds filled with lively koi and goldfish which are a testement to the creative passion of the hotel owner and her family. There are no  coffee pots, microwaves, weight rooms or swimming pools at the Charm, but instead a  simple peaceful ambiance that frees the soul. During several month-long collaborations at Khon Kean University over the past 5 years, I  have found the proximity to campus to be ideal. There is a local fitness park/small lake within walking distance and the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops, and is withn a block of a 7-11's and laundromats. Unlike so many affordable hotels I've stayed at in Thailand, the Charm is well mantained. During my most recent stay (2019), electrical outlets, air conditioning units and bathroom rennovations were being made (although I didn't notice any deterioration in my room).
