"No surprise, but if you want to go anywhere from this hotel, you better have a car, because there is little nearby (some restaurants and shops even if necessary), and no public transport services.

"Had some vehicle trouble on way home from women’s college World Series. Wasn’t sure about this place ( never heard of it ) but I would put this hotel above all the name brand hotels I’ve stayed. Very clean and quiet"

"The main complaint I had was the hotel refused to let me pay the $200 deposit by cash. I did not have the money on my discover used to pay for the room or in my checking acct. I was given the option to use a card or cancel my reservations. It was midnight and I had surgery at 5:00 am the next morning. I didn’t have the extra money or time to find another hotel. I was forced to use my bank card which overdrew my checking account and that cost me an additional $27 thru my bank in overdraft fees. Then I was told the deposit would be refunded back to my card on 2-4 business days. It has now been 5 business days and I still do not have the $100 refund in my bank account. Because of this inconvenience I will not be staying at Avid hotels in the future."

"Room is very clean, staff are friendly and accommodating, the sundries are life savers because we checked in late and I was too tired to go out and get something to eat. It's a good thing they have pretty good selection on their ready in 10 minutes meals. Will stay there again. "
