Esiankiki Resort & Spa - Nanyuki

I prefer peaceful locations away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns, and this hotel was perfect in that regard. The food was delicious. The rooms were nice, and breakfast was good, but we encountered issues with the shower. A temporary fix was made after a wait, but it was never properly repaired during our stay. Additionally, the floor trap in the bathroom was left open, and despite requesting a fix, it remained unresolved by the time we checked out. The pool hours (10 AM to 6 PM) felt inconvenient—opening too late and closing too early. On a positive note, the gym facility was well-equipped but mostly empty. However, the gym instructor was available and ensured access for members who wanted to work out late at night.

The hotel is situated next to the Nanyuki - Nyeri highway which makes it very convenient to access. Together my family we visited this hotel in December 2024 for 3 nights. The rooms are quite appealing especially the cottages. Generally the hotel is nicely built and has great staff. the only thing that i didn't like about this hotel is that food is very expensive and very little portions are served, for example they serve very little veggies (a pinch of spinach) as accompaniment for food that was very expensive - it felt like a rip-off. We opted to have most of our meals outside the hotel. Please do your homework and compare your portions with other similar hotels. Sylvia was very useful as she was able to sort most of our issues which included check-in issues and wrong bills/prices that dont match the prices on the menu. I would still recommend this hotel to others - they should only improve on the mentioned items.

The beds🤌the shower 🤌the services 🤌 Anytime I visit nanyuki I have a go to place.... It was epic I also loved the setting of their night place and not to mention the heated pool. Their food is amazing as is their personnel.

First and last time we will go there. Ordered our drinks and food. Drinks took 30plus mins food took 1 hour 20 and order was wrong. How can you order a salmon sandwich when you don't even get a full slice of bread. Charged the wrong price on the bill, staff didn't come over throughout to ask if we wanted another drink or if our food was okay. Poor for a spa hotel

I visited your place and was impressed by your services...your workers aee warm and ensured we were satisfied with everything. We ate good food, slept in clean rooms and washrooms weren't the best too. Keep up the good work.

There’s a lot of bad to say about this hotel. - Disorganized- On the day of checking in we realized the hotel had played us probably in favor of people attending another event at the same place and some of us had no rooms (we came to this realization at 9pm) and they tried to get us to stay at a different hotel. Half the group declined and booked a stay at a different hotel. - Some of the rooms are in disrepair and reception for some reason still has nerve to allocate the rooms. We moved to a room that had no working sockets and some lights. Complained and got moved to another one. It was 9pm and reception asked us to wait for the room to get mopped. Only to come in and find an onion peeling. I laughed. - Food selection- Pathetic. They had a limited selection of food. Literally had one bite and I couldn’t push myself to eat that. Not fresh, not well seasoned. - The noise in rooms near the reception. They have a bar that plays really loud music. Don’t come here for rest and relaxation. - Broken fixtures in rooms not fixed.
