This time I stayed in a room with an open-air hot spring. Next door is the Kikuchi Valley. The water is extremely clear and it is really relaxing. The staff here are also very friendly, especially the foreign staff. I stayed for two consecutive nights. Unexpectedly, the dinner menu was completely different. It was delicious! All in all, it’s a great hot spring hotel!

The open-air bath attached to the room is large, with a crystal clear river just below and a thick, viscous water at just the right temperature. It felt so good I didn't want to get out, so I went in again and again. There was a wide variety of dishes for both dinner and breakfast, but the portions were just right and delicious.
The inn felt quietly hidden away in nature, and you could hardly hear any noise from neighbors or cars, making it a really comfortable inn. It's easy to see why there are so many regular customers.
