The Manian

Waited in a shabby reception for 30 minutes and was not seen too. The ceiling in reception was collapsing so left. Approximately 21.30 that evening after I had a 4 hour drive home I received a call asking if I was still en-route to which I explained what events had occurred to a response of oh well so your not coming then? At which point I hung up.

Friendly staff , car park good ,breakfast very good , our room was clean , let down by the en suite that was very dated and basic , also the road is very busy and noisy , but good to be near the attractions and popular beaches , Folly farm is a brilliant place , loved Tenby and Saundersfoot

Fabulous place, stayed for 3 nights. Room was clean, bed comfortable and great views to the rear. Staff very welcoming and varied evening meal food choice, breakfast very traditional with locally sourced food. Lush! I will miss staying here.

Staying overnight on business in the area. Friendly and professional at reception; I was lucky enough to be offered a suite, which was spacious and felt fresh throughout. Facilities great; tasteful decor, lovely clean bathroom with an excellent shower. Evening meal in the restaurant was very enjoyable; relaxed atmosphere, good service and excellent food cooked using quality ingredients. Best night's sleep in ages; I tend to be a bit restless when working away, but slept right through, in my lovely comfy bed! A Welsh breakfast and a pot of fresh coffee set me up for the day's work. Top marks; I look forward to working in Pembrokeshire again very soon!

Short notice trip to Wales, the hostess very welcoming on arrival. Upgraded us to an apartment with beautiful view and facilities, free wifi included in price, not something you get at some chain hotels. The Welsh breakfast has set us up for the day, visiting Folly Farm.

My husband and I spent only one night at Manian lodge but would definitely like to return. We were upgraded from a double room to a suite but it was really a mini apartment with a sitting room, bathroom (with excellent shower) and bedroom and it’s own front door. The room was in a separate block from the main building and it looked like most rooms in that block were similar. We found it excellent for our purposes. We were able to have a nice meal in the restaurant and then return to our own sitting room with a glass of wine and to watch tbe World Cup. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was a nice view from the sitting room balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
