Older establishment run by friendly owner/operators. Very close to train station and town so no need to use public transportation. Rooms older but comfortable, beautiful well kept grounds to gaze out on. Breakfast in dining room is awesome. Made to order choices of eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, drinks, yogurt, fruits, cereals. Our room was somewhat above the kitchen area and we woke up to the lovely smell of bacon cooking each morning. Across from dining room is a gathering room to enjoy. As mentioned in other reviews the walls are thin so can be noisy. Bathrooms small but adequate.

The Gardens is a value bnb, in a great location. 5 min walk to town center, where you can find restaurants, tours to ROK, Dingle. We stayed at bedroom with a double and sinle beds. Bathroom is very clean, looks new to me. But sink is a half sink. Good for washing hands. But careful when you wash your face or water might get all over the floor. Breahfast buffet is not much, but they do offer some choices for cooked breakfast. Al in all this is a great choice if you are looking for an affordable place to stay for family.

My wife and I just returned from a 2 week vacation self-touring southern Ireland, which included a 3 night stay at the Gardens' B&B in Killarney. The Gardens was a perfect stay for us. It is located in an area in close proximity to town. Most of Killarney's top attractions and site seeing opportunities are within easy walking/biking distance. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were tremendously friendly and gracious. The onsite breakfast included with our stay was fantastic, and the breakfast room professionally operated (even better than the service we received at restaurants in town.) If you are staying in Killarney, you will definitely want to consider a stay at this hidden gem.

I stayed at The Gardens B&B for 8 nights in June 2024, and I can only say it was thoroughly the best stay possible. First of all, this place is very close to the centre of Killarney, and only a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. My room was cosy and very quiet, as it was at the very end of the attached building and right in front of the idyllic and peaceful garden. It had all the necessities, a very comfy bed, and I had very restful night sleeps. The bathroom was extremely clean, too. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was always more than happy to accommodate any particular request. And that's what stood out the most, the friendliness and kindness of the owners and their staff. They made me feel at home since the very first day and even swiftly accommodated a last-minute request, as I had decided to stay in Killarney for two extra nights. I don't exaggerate when I say I had the most beautiful week in Kerry, and part of it was due to the comfort of The Gardens B&B. I'll surely be back. Thank you, Sandra, John, and all the staff for a most wonderful stay.

I spent 3 nights there, and I found this place absolutely delightful! The room was clean and pretty, with plenty of amenities. I really felt like home there. Breakfast is also great. I could choose one from several options including traditional Irish breakfast, and they tasted very good! And most of all, the staffs were all friendly and helpful. They even gave me a basketful of sandwiches and fruits, since I had to leave in the early morning! Thank you The Gardens B&B, I will definitely come back in my next trip to Co. Kerry!

Comfortable bed and hot shower. Pleasant room with bathroom, private entrance and beautiful outlook, and quiet. Parking no problem, walking distance to town and restaurants, and Killarney gardens. Full Irish breakfast (or healthy options - fresh fruit).

Super-friendly and helpful staff, rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, and the hotel is well situated - about a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations and just a few minutes into the heart of killarney. Nice breakfasts - they include a continental buffet and cooked options, served from 8am-10am (I was kindly offered a pre-made breakfast when I thought I might have to leave much earlier). Overall, a good value option that I would book again.

This was our second visit to The Garden this year and as before it was perfect. We booked 2 rooms this time and both were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were on the bottom floor which meant we virtually parked outside the room and as we had sizeable bags this too was great. Lovely breakfasts each morning over looking the garden. Thanks again to Sandra, John and all the staff.

The Gardens B and B is a superb place to stay. The breakfasts are plentiful and staff are efficient and friendly along with the proprietors. It is minutes walk from the town and the accommodation is lovely overlooking the grounds. I fully recommend this place.
