I think the hotel was previously a Kempinski, some of the towels and robes had the logo.
The location next to the river is nice, if you can get a room facing that side.
The pool, jacuzzi and gym facilities are good.
There are 3 ATMs in the lobby, giving out USD and a Vodacom and clothes store.

Breakfast is delicious, the environment is good, the hotel is clean, and it is the favorite of fitness experts. There is a big gym on the first floor. The hotel staff is very professional and enthusiastic, and it is the most satisfactory hotel in Congo.

It was a stressful experience for me and my partner. It's been more than 15 years traveling to different countries for the first time after receiving confirmation to our booking. On arrival at the hotel late in the evening after a tiring journey it was discovered that our booking had been cancelled without notice. The hotel had this practice if there were too many guests and all the rooms were occupied. After much discussion and waiting we were seated in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable and the service related with it was ok. But in general the overall service is not up to a five star hotel. The hotel does not offer included transportation to and from the airport to its guests, guests must pay extra for it. Spa services like massage are missing. The pool water was not clean. The breakfast offer was poor of fruits.

I’m more than happy for having stayed again at the fleuve congo hotel this month as I loved how nice the staff welcomed me especially on the day I have arrived yo their hotel. I have got picked up at the airport and the driver was on time and even waited for me as my flight was a bit delayed. It was my second time going there as I went there during summer 2017. FCH is the place to be either for business or family leisure. Centrally located to several amenities and the security is good. Spacious, highly standard clean rooms and nice environment. Food is good too with a modern swimming pool by the bar and gym.

The interior design is beautiful and the food is spectacular. Staff were nice and understood both French and English. The main hall is very spacious and the toilets were clean and didn’t have a bad odour. I’d rate my experience a 5/5 and I hope future customers feel the same way
