Easy access from the motorway and well signed. Arrived just after 1200 and missed the office until 1400 so decided to have lunch in the restaurant, it’s a Greek restaurant food nice but service came with a large amount of attitude, apart from one young girl who was waiting table. Very little English (or French) spoken in office, but we have no German so can’t complain ! Our Motorhome is large so was offered the use of two adjacent pitches, but likewise was charged accordingly. Facilities very modern and clean. Although it is a very large site, most of it is occupied by seasonal caravans, which gave the whole place a shanty town feel as several very old and run down. There are large gangs of teenagers, with younger children in tow, constantly roaming the site on bikes and scooters, described at best as feral, one eventually rode his bike head on into the side of our motorhome whilst the others looked on. We had originally booked in to stay for a week, but on our third night was broken into whilst we was asleep, fortunately iPhones & iPads and an expensive gents watch all remained in situ on the table, yet a locker with a bag containing our passports and U.K. wallet had been opened and bag taken……………..this was found outside next to the motorhome, passports intact, wallet still had debit card in it, but oddly the sterling currency had been taken. All in all it feels like a campsite run by the Germans for the Germans and brits are not overly welcome.
