The staff were all really cheerful and helpful, particularly Kimberly, however the manageress Missy never introduced herself although we did see her in the pub and she had been contacted about our change of room. The USB sockets in the plug were a good idea but unless you had a long lead there was nowhere to rest the items plugged in. The location was good although there was no onsite parking it was easy to park in the street outside this may have been different in peak season. The room was clean enough. Disliked · We were initially in room 6 but when I sat on the bed I could feel the base beneath the mattress so we asked if we could change and were given room 7 which was a bit better. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work and when we asked about this we were told something about it being switched off as it drained all the heat which I didn't really understand and as our stay was in November on one night the temperature was 1 degree. It is an old building but the condensation on the window in the morning was unbelievable. The blind didn't fully cover the window so light came into the room and we were on a higher floor so no shutters. The fluffy towels needed to be tumble dried to be fluffy so they weren't as per the description. Tried to wash my hair one afternoon at 1630 but no hot water. The food was OK but not fantastic, there appeared to be two menus but we were only shown one, we were on DBB. The breakfast was OK but would have liked some fruit or compote to mix with the yoghurt, no granola just muesli this is personal preference. One evening we went downstairs at 930 pm to get another drink and the bar was in complete darkness, they hadn't warned us that they close early if no customers.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the evening meals were very tasty and the breakfast was excellent! The breakfast chef told me that all produce was locally sourced / made by a local butcher, the eggs were free range and even the yoghurts were from a local creamery. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful stay!

Arrived here and there's no car park but we managed to park in the street easily enough. The location is good easy walk to harbour and shops. Our room was nice enough the only thing was the fan in the bathroom didn't seem to be working. We booked a table for dinner, when we went into the restaurant there was only one couple in and another came in , so 6 diners in total. Our order was taken and then we waited, almost an hour before our food arrived. There was no obvious reason for the delay as it wasn't busy and we were offered no explanation. My husband ordered salmon and when it arrived the crispy mussels were missing, they eventually arrived about 5 or 10 minutes later. I'd ordered chicken tempura with stir fry, it was a stir fry with chicken but it wasn't tempura. I didn't send it back because I was hungry by this time and it was quite tasty. We were offered a free drink and my husband took a glass of wine but I didn't want another drink. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. If you decide to stay here have your dinner elsewhere!!

Dreadful hotel. Room did not have a wardrobe or hanging rail which was an issue as we had booked for over a week. Room was not serviced and on suite not cleaned (nobody expects towels replaced everyday). We were informed that no hotels in the town service rooms everyday. Refund obtained and moved to another hotel in the town that does service room and onsuite every day

Horrible. The toilette didn’t work. It was not reparated and we had to take the garbage cane to throw water in the toilette. The water of the shower was not enough to wash the hair. For the breakfast there wasn’t any local product, everything was industrial.

Ate in the restaurant. Very little atmosphere. Food was lovely when it arrived but the service was very slow. The waitress was very nice and did apologise for the delay. Bar area was very noisy. I had looked into staying here but glad I didn't.
