Econo Lodge Hotels in Kissimmee

Still waiting on our refund of deposit that should had transpired over a week ago. Front desk is short staffed; waiting on line of over 30 minutes or more to check-in and/or out. Staff very polite and friendly. Rooms need a face lift; old furniture, 1970s; bathroom(s) need much TLC, they need caulking, painting and updated fixtures. It’s a real shame, owner/corporation are not investing in the property… for it is located in a prime location. We witnessed homeless individuals living in the property, there’s nothing wrong with that…but when they knock on your door asking for a cigarette…it’s a problem.

The lady who helped us at the service desk was rude and very unhelpful. We had drove all the way from Dallas to Orlando with a uhaul we booked 2 nights but couldn't make the first one as we were still on route. She didn't want to give us our room and said that the reservation was canceled because we no showed for our booking. Long story short we had to get the manager who was nice enough to help us and gave us our room.

Love this place sooo much! I will always visit here when I’m in Kissimmee! Love the staff an love the rooms! Beds are super comfortable!

Set back a little from the main road but the reception is welcoming and we were greeted with smiles from the two men who sell the attractions tickets. We checked with ease although finding the room was a little more tricky. The room was a good size and had all the amenities you need, with the exception of a safe (which is found at reception) The beds however were terrible and were not much better then a sofa bed in terms of comfort, equally the pillows were like the ones you are given on the plane, but if you ask you can get more. The 2 pools were clean, although wasn’t sure which of them was meant to be heated. There is a small arcade with some nostalgic games to play and a small shop with the usual holiday bits and bobs. They advertise film night every night between 8-10, we saw the projector but never a film. Visited the bar once and the barman was excellent, and recommended the chicken Parmesan so highly, myself and my daughter bought one, and it was amazing. Due to the hurricane we visited the diner restaurant and had pizza and a chicken pasta dish, both excellent value for money. The staff in the food areas during the hurricane had queues of people waiting but they all were excellent with customer service, in fact a real credit to Ramada. Then there was a member of staff who as the title of my review stated, the bad apple someone who should not be in a job where he has to interact with customers whatsoever. The member of staff works at reception as well ??? Average height middle aged, rotund man with glasses, in case you go there you know who to avoid. My first encounter with him when I came to reception to ask for some tape to seal an envelope, firstly he left me standing there even after noticing me, and there was no one else In the reception are, good start. When he finally shuffled over he said nothing just looked at me with a blank look, I asked if they had a piece of tape to seal my envelope and I got zero response, just a blank stare! I stood for a few more mins and had to ‘mime’ tape holding the envelope in my hand…again nothing I looked over at a woman the other side of reception and she could see I was getting a bit annoyed by this man’s lack of communication, she said to him ‘do we have tape’ and he pulled a face and shrugged his shoulders !11 he then turn away from me and started shuffling bits of paper about. I stood for about a minute amazed how rude this man was, so I said I’ll take that as a no then shall I ? And as I walked off the woman said ‘no no he is looking” He wasn’t looking for anything he was rude and this is someone who is the person you potentially meet when you first arrive at the hotel, I wouldn’t have him sweeping up he is a disgrace, not just for that instance but for the second time I had the misfortune of having to be assisted by him! When the hurricane hit, obviously everything shut locally yet the restaurant in the hotel did excellently to provide a small menu. I had no cash and we hadn’t eaten f

Surprisingly nice!. This resort is actually really nice, clean, and lots of amenities and activities. We live on the road, per se, staying in different resorts. We stayed at all of the Diamond Resorts in Orlando, and Mystic Dunes I think is the best one. Although Diamond (or most of their top resorts) is now part of Hilton Grand Vacations, and we stayed at a good sample of Hilton resorts I would still rank Mystic Dunes in the top 15%. We stayed for 2-weeks back to back in a 2-bedroom unit overlooking the pool in the newest building (#30?), the one beside the registration office, and fitness room. The gym is super large, one of the biggest gyms in all the resorts we stayed in, lots of machines, weights, etc... The resort also has shuttles or golf carts that runs every 15 min everywhere to take you to the different pools, tennis courts, mini-golf course, or where ever you want to go. We tried almost every activity at the main pool which is absolutely awesome. The waterfall is relaxing, massage. The slide is actually decent, and there are plenty of lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, and a really nice tiki bar... You can also ride bikes, you can rent them all day for free! The 2-bedroom condo has a lot of space, very open, and the balcony is screened with tremendous views of the golf courses. I think maybe the only down side that I recall was that there were no jacuzzis.... other than that, this place is a must visit.

I've been checking in with them almost every week, everytime I get an off coz my daughter loves their pool and I love the fact that they have hot swimming pool which is good for me and my daughter! If they have a membership, I'll be their number one member!

Nice modern room, even if a bit small for 4 people. The main table turns into another bed. There's a good fridge, a coffee maker, tea and coffee. Good shower and good products in the bathroom. The pools were basic but great with a nice water temperature. The service from all the staff was great, they really have a good customer service culture.

There were NO microwaves in ANY rooms, and coffee maker only took little pouches the size of a tea bag. Refrigerator froze veggies, and no free breakfast. Forcing us to go to Starbucks, Pizza Hut or expensive Breakfast in the lobby if you didn't want to leave the hotel.

I am an avid researcher on reviews when booking a hotel I’ve never stayed at before. Came across this property and mostly had good reviews other than complaining the noise levels were loud. I thought how bad could it really be? Yeah, walls are SUPER thin. We were three doors away from the elevator and a good distance in our room from the door with the AC blasting and still heard every noise,scream,conversation, elevator ding etc. not much sleeping for sure. The rooms are good decor wise, but we also didn’t have hot water. The water is comparable to pool water at its hottest. Breakfast, there are pre-plated items to pick from each morning. You pick your item (breakfast sandwich,banana, and wafer cookies) and they grab it from the fridge in the back. They had drink choices displayed but were told those weren’t options and drinks were juice or milk. Now this resort has tried to update, and I could tell they’re working on it. However, in our 4 days, we never seen someone clean the hallways, elevator, floor boards etc. so cleaning is definitely not a priority. As far as distance to anything, it’s quite out of the way. It says its 10 miles from Disney, but with traffic, its roughly 20 minutes. Food around the resort however has options close by. I’m not to picky when it comes to rentals, but being without hot water, the distance, and the uncleanliness we won’t stay again.
