Mare Paphos

I have wrote previously about the warmth and empathy there is here… broadly speaking that’s the field I work in..So, just as - “The eyes are the windows to the soul” as is.. “Active listening the enemy of assumption” ..staying here in the final quiet week in November when the frequency of life was toned down allowed for me to more empathically feel this special place through the experience of the people who work here, and it was so lovely to ‘see’ them all. There are very few things that manage to floor me as a therapist, but here hospitality does indeed emanate from their hearts. Their words, gestures, and their kindness, they are entirely genuine with no false outer façade, It is not forced or taught. Staff are driven by a passion and values that empowers their vision of what hospitality means, and it’s that same purpose that has brought together the most remarkable and eclectic group of creative professionals with the experience, love and flair for hospitality - everything fits perfectly together, providing an unparalleled experience of warmth, relaxation , peace and ultimate well-being (my passion). Nata, after a long day, there was a myriad of reasons why I was so relieved to walk through the doors of the hotel, a spontaneous, genuine hug from you greeted me, your gentle demeanour, kind and sincere words instantly put me at ease. In the early evening I returned to my room. I still had makeup on at this point, it had withstood a long day; a 7.am flight etc..Karina (I may have mentioned her once or twice before) had left a sentimental handwritten note in my room - your ability to reach anyone with your your words and gestures is profound…. you talk, write and work from your heart and this serves as a testament to the congruence I speak of - as for the makeup, it gave up the valiant fight to stay on any longer, non waterproof..(panda like, you get it). There are so many “Thank you’s”… Siisike, Karina and Ausma…Thank you all for room 1209, it provided a stunning aspect of this beautiful place, the ocean and mesmerising sunset’s; the space and time for reflection and a library’s worth of inspiration and, yes - peace. Peace is a rare commodity, for me it’s priceless, much like the memories of the precious moments I take back with me each time that I visit here, and I use the experience of it as a metaphor for life - “Go with whatever makes you feel peaceful”. The vicissitudes of life can leave us all depleted and “Stressed out” and I manage that ordinarily, you get my point (Therapist and peace 🙄) but being here is effortless, the whole environment is conducive to relaxation. Subjectively, it feels like I step into a world were so much care and pride is taken in their work across all areas. Amazing experience with my stepdaughter and husband.we stayed in a sea view suite which was massive .so menu different ares to go to it was like a reall village with street names.good location and amazing views and staff like josef,karolina,gest services and lots of others.excellent food.thank you so much for are stay.

We stayed at Atlantica Mare Village Paphos in October and I must say it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed! The food, the drinks, the rooms and the lovely views added up to our perfect little trip. I’d like to address a special thanks to Karina from Guest Services… Dear Karina, Thank you so much for checking up on my little one following his little rash and also for the lovely note in our room and chocolate cake… which he LOVED!. His rash was all cleared up and he loved his time at Atlantica Mare, we all did. I’m so touched by your kindness and thankful for your time and recommendations every time we spoke. You’re amazing at your job and a true asset to this hotel. Thank you so much!

We stayed in Atlantica Mare Village over October half them holiday, last min we decided to upgrade to swim up room we had originally booked room with sea view, also our swim up room had a lovely sea view and lovely comfortable sofa type sun loungers , as water was quite cold and our little one didn’t want to swim after first day in pools we was glad we could enjoy our peace and serenity at our swim up room and she enjoyed playing on patio or in the room shading from the heat , our room was lovely and comfortable suite with two separate bedrooms which we really loved and nice shower room Hotel also has nice beach area where you can sunbathe and enjoy a cold cocktail from their beach bar as well and water in the sea was very pleasant . Food was really good with good selection of choices they also had à la carte restaurants in particular we was fond of the Green & Grill , we managed to dine few times in there as we loved the food so much , also staff was very friendly and happy to help with anything. Also hotel had good selection of snack bars and ice cream van .Also wanted to give big shout out to few staff sorry if some names not quite right ,Victor in restaurants always smiling also other ladies always very friendly ,Restaurant Manager Yannis was very helpful and friendly and Zoltan ,also Ladies in kids club are fab and very friendly, thank you so much Eleini, Vicki, Ann Marie ,entertaining kids and making all sorts of crafts our little one enjoyed,also big shout out to Ausma in Guest relations she was very welcoming and helpful in making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Looking forward to seeing you again!☀️❤️

We are delighted with this place. The entire staff deserves special praise; everyone is helpful and always ready with a smile. The grounds are beautiful, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The food is delicious, the waitstaff are wonderful, and the restaurants are high-quality with excellent drinks. There’s a bus stop near the hotel, making it easy to explore the area. Rooms are cleaned regularly. We highly recommend this place :)

We are a family of 3 (son 2yr old) and visited the hotel in November 2024, the last week before the end of season. Given its end of season, it was very quiet, meaning we didn’t have to queue for anything and was very relaxed. I imagine in height of season there might be a little waiting time but you would imagine the same in any hotel. Pro’s / cons for a family with a 2 year old; Pro: - staff were incredibly kid friendly, very approachable and engaging - kids area is good, but maybe more suited for 3+ - lots of food available - general buffet food was really nice, clean and lots of variety - rooms were very nice and clean and accommodated our needs for a 2 year old - entertainment was good, again, end of season so probably not as much as normal - amazing views of the sea - I would advise spending the extra for a sea view room otherwise you face the car park - restaurants (Italian and green and grill) had brilliant food, would happily pay outside of the hotel for that standard Cons: - pools were a little cold, but not a dealbreaker - being end of season felt service lacked a little, didn’t get towels one day for our room, water wasn’t restocked in our room etc. - the hotel obviously runs as half board too, which means they have prices on menus which is confusing, and sometimes thing you would expect to be included aren’t for a 5* - not really a beach nearby (but not the hotels fault) although you can go snorkeling which is really great - play park was more for older children, could do with some swings and little slides. Overall we had a brilliant relaxing time, I would happily return.
