Vrachia Beach Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

A little piece of heaven on earth. Situated between Paphos and Coral Bay, setby the ocean, close enough to hear the water hitting the beach ... the room (303) was lovely, we had a 1 bedroom apartment, very comfy bed and pillows, kept very clean and cleaners in every day changing sheets if required and towels daily. Kitchen equipped with microwave/kettle/plates and glasses and mugs etc. Utensils provided were great, just needed a clean.... we had a balcony overlooking the sea and over to Coral Bay, so beautiful. Only thing ... it didn't get any sunshine until late in the afternoon but it was great for sitting out in the shade. Pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas... my only gripe would be that the umbrellas are static and you can't move them .. so if you needed a bit of shade, you had to move to another sunbed. Pool area kept really clean, pool itself was just the right temperature. We didn't use the restaurant this time, we bought our own food and ate out in the evening either walking to Coral Bay (and bussing it back) or getting the bus into Paphos. Both places have loads of great eating places. (Bus costs 2 euros one way or 6.50 for a day ticket and are very frequent). The staff were friendly enough although we didn't have many dealings with them. We love this hotel, peace and quiet, for adults only.
Cynthiana Beach Hotel

Beautifully located hotel with a chilled, laid back atmosphere, a clean and tidy environment and helpful staff made for a pleasant, relaxing holiday. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found the self service breakfasts a great start to days mostly spent soaking in the sun on either the private lagoon terrace or a the picturesque grassy sea view mound. The meals in the dining room were usually busy, but well organised ( lots of people want to eat at around the same time ) and of a very good quality, as one would expect from a hotel of this value. There is a busy little bar to have a chat and drink in before or after your meal, and a small sandwich and pizza menu is available if something lighter is your choice. All items and services we used were good value. We would definitely visit here again, and hopefully get a memorable sea view.
Theo Sunset Bay Hotel

We chose this as a base for our house hunting expedition and actually spent very little time there. So the most important things for us was cleanliness and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the hotel scored highly on both these points. The location is also great with some of the best views from the restaurants and sun deck you will find. The hotel was in winter mode so there wasn’t the full range of choice you’d probably get in high season but the cooked breakfast was pretty good and certainly enough variety for a week. We didn’t catch much of the entertainment but the little we heard was above average, and if we return we would certainly make a point of seeing Rachel on a Saturday night, she was excellent. The hotel has a mini market attached which is sensibly priced. On the downside, our room was on the small side. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.
Queens Bay Hotel

What a fabulous Hotel this is. All of the 5* reviews are spot on. There isn't anything bad to say about the hotel at all. The food is the best I have ever had in all inclusive, anyone who says otherwise must live on oven chips and fish fingers or something as the food is of a very good standard for all inclusive. The staff in the restaurant day and nice and so so lovely, very helpful, attentive, and big shout out to Donna whos also good for advice on the area, and her husband works down in Coral Bay and at Chalkies and they do a mean cocktail :) Possibly the cleanest hotel I ever stayed in too cleaners are around all day, they literally clean everything and they are all very pleasant and smiling. The rooms were big and spacious and cleaned everyday! They also offer pool towels should you need them but only one for free then if you want them cleaned you have to pay but we also took our own towel so that was enough for the week. They have a normal menu also if you aren't having all inclusive and the food on it is very nice and the portions are huge! They do table service also for drinks during dinner service, and they have carafes of wine on the tables in the main restaurant on an evening for bigger parties. The wine is drinkable but if you are a wine drinker regular like we are we could only drink one or two glasses before we got sick. Plenty of cocktails on the menu and a lot of them are included on all inclusive, if you are all inclusive its worth nothing all the drinks that aren't included are half price which makes them very cheap for what you get. Pool area is super clean lots of sunbeds with mattress on and a table and umbrella should you need one, only a handful of people put their towels down but you dont need to, they also has a lifeguard. However he has the easiest job in the world as there isnt a lot going on in the pool and most of the clientele are about 55-60yr+. The pool is very clean and cold as it does get very hot in this area. We went October and it was 30+ each day. At the back they have a little sandy walk way down to a beach bar that has tables and sunbeds and a bar, its not part of the hotel so you do have to pay but the drinks are strong and cheap. There are steps down to the sea and its nice and shallow and the music around the beach bar was good. There isnt much directly around the hotel, we tried the restaurants in walking distance and 3 out of 4 were pretty poor. The only thing I would change is being able to do one day at a time all inclusive upgrade, you had to do 3 days minimum and they had to be consecutive days. We would like liked to do every other day on all inclusive BUT, now that we did that we would of rather just gone all inclusive for the full week for how good the food was. I got back on Saturday and on Sunday I booked to go back all inclusive next October. Bar staff were fab and friendly but if you want to go out of the hotel to a different bar or restaurant you can get the bus, dow
