ネットを検索してたどり着いたお宿。会津若松散策にあたりここを選びました。近くに日中線記念館（旧熱塩駅）もあって鉄オタにはちょうど良い。従業員の方はみんな明るくていい感じです。建物自体は結構古く、昔の社員旅行が流行っていた時に建て増しした？迷路構造。エレベーターで上がった3階の一部分はリノベーションされ新しくなっていますが、それ以外は古いですね。しかし清掃は行き届いてます。裏山にいるヤギが眺められる部屋をチョイス。ヤギが鳴いてます。部屋には若女将さん手作りのお菓子が。家で美味しく頂きました。食事はみな素朴な味付けで美味しいです。量はちょっと少なめですが自分にはちょうど良い。お風呂はその時間は男湯は観音風呂。人の身長と同じくらいの観音様が湯船脇に立っております。お湯は43度くらいで少し熱かったですが女湯はちょうど良かったそうです。従業員の明るい笑顔と声が記憶に残るいいお宿です。
